Make the crab a defensive drone, designed to keep diggers and sprayers safe in dangerous environments.

Re: EDTools - Your every day tools!
Yes that's a good idea, but this mod won't live if we don't get a guy to put the sprites together and make an actor. I made the dirt sprayer, looks and acts like dirt, it shoots particles instead of pixels, so that you can fill a hole quicker without lagging.

Well I'm not that great, but try asking someone like DSMK2, he has a lot of experience with crabs. I can't get over how much like a police riot control bot that looks.

Heh yeah I guess it does look abit like it. DSMK2, or CaveCricket.. love CaveCricket's mods... And my original intention was to make the bots white-coloured, but that's abit boring, so I figured my favourite colour would be cooler.

Re: EDTools - Your every day tools!
It's DEFINITELY better blue Anyway, DSMK2 is the better choice, as he seems to be better at making crabs. He made 4! YAAAY.

It's slowly dying, even though I've made the dirt sprayer and the PNZR-sprayer (basically better concrete, and you spray it faster) I tried PM'ing DSMK2 but he isn't responding.

"It's slowly dying" What do you mean by that? Do you mean interest in the mod or the actual unit when bought in game? If you mean interest in the mod I can assure you that there's at least one person waiting for the release... If you're really desperate to get someone to put it together put a post in the requests forum or just have a crack at it yourself.

I'm not losing interest, but I'm fearing that it will die out if I don't get help. I'll pots in the requests forum.

Awwww, the Wall B01 has the cute factor, dunno why. I hope this continues, too bad I am no coder.
Highly interested in this mod, I've always wanted a construction/repair crew. I'm only an artist, so it you need ideas for looks just tell me. Though that doesn't seem to help too much.

Re: EDTools - Your every day tools!
Thank you :3 I tried doing the WALL-B01 myself, and it's going pretty well right now! Is it ok that the head is an attachment and not the crab itself? The head is basically just there.. but.. fuggit, it's coo'.

It shouldn't be the crab itself. Then people can shoot it's 'head off'. Makes it more fun to break.

Yeah, but they need to plug 10 shots in to the helmet, then 10 shots in to the head. I think I'm going to make its chest/body and legs strong, while it has a PowerSupply® on its back, that emits a plasma looking substance. If this PowerSupply® is shot too many times, the whole WALL-B01 will explode. Good idea? Yes? No? The crab is done, just need to fix all the gibs, and sounds. I don't think I can do an actor though, just looking at the walkpaths and crawpaths makes me flinch.
