Kay, so. Im trying to play Cortex Command just like everyone else here, and I bought it like 2 days ago, picked up a USB Number pad. But, I just realised that the numbers on the number pad dont work for controls. They register that your hitting the keys but when you actually go to play it doesnt do anything. The same thing happens to Shift and the arrow keys.

There was an instruction with the game that you SHOULD have read... Something named readme.

Well, WASD works, but not when your trying to play with a friend. But I doubt someone like you has that problem, what with the lack of friends and all.

I see what your problem is! You are trying to let your friend play on your keyboard and you purchased the usb numberpad as a second controller, but those are not compatible with Cortex Command. I recommend buying a Usb controller for windows or something.

This sounds like the thing with b22 not configuring keys correctly. Try downloading an old build, like b20 or 21, setting the keys in there, then copying over your settings.ini.

Yeah ill try that. Sorry for being a douche bag, i just was frustrated about the game not working.

Ill try the "old build" idea cause it sounds like it will work.
