Re: Favorite FPS
I've gotta say Quake III Arena just for the nostalgia.
Apart from that, does Fallout 3 count?
Oh, and Half Life 2 (including the few mods I have)

Re: Favorite FPS
God damn you, you magnificent bastard, I've been searching for that game for years. WHERE WERE YOU HIDING IT. I think I played a demo of it when I was... 6? (for those interested- scientist + bring your kid to work day = do not want) anyway, I like L4D, Eternal Silence, Crysis Wars (played the trial recently, it was great fun, 4.5/5 plan on buying), Zombie Master, and Zombie Panic. Of those, the only game I'm genuinely good at is Eternal Silence, and then only while flying.

Re: Favorite FPS
I'll just list random mods since I need to mention some of them due to their awesome.
Technically I've had these for ages, but I've only recently started playing Q3A mods again.
Quake III Arena
Hunt (You vs Endless swarms of monsters in 3 shapes and sizes.) Arq (A combination of "Archon" and Quake 3.) Superhero Arena (Self-explanatory.) Team Arena (It's technically not a mod, but it seems like one.)
Half-Life 2
Zombie Panic (Humans v Zombies) Zombie Master (Humans v Almighty omniprescent god that can control an army of zombies.) Modular Combat (Hl2 becomes a MMORPG) Dystopia (Awesomeness. AWESOMENESS!) Empires (FPS meets RTS)
