I got as far as earning a mount, but then I didn't really feel motivated to keep playing.
Also Miles, Second Life is pretty awesome.

In my opinion, Second Life is even worse than WoW.
  At least WoW is objective-oriented.

I used to have a retail account but I really couldn't play then. If I can manage to set up a subscription, I think I might give it another go.
@THOR: Was I supposed to move to your realm?

Imnick is a level 80 Arcane/Frost mage (Dual specs are good but they're glitchy right now) in Nordrassil (The European server). Also I'm an engineer with my very own chopper I have a bunch of alts but none are really worth mentioning, I was levelling a shaman but that's been put on hold now that patch 3.1 is out. I need to get all of those argent tournament rewards! While raiding I think I'm held back by my guild, we don't have enough people to do anything raid with more than 10 people and we still miss some of those because people are away. Also we are quite dysfunctional and argue a lot, but that's fun. I like arguing. I'm considering finding another guild so I can actually go to Ulduar but I have friends in this one (although I could probably get at least some of them to come with me).

:bandwagon: I have a level 80 dwarf survival hunter with something like 425 Engineering. on Zangarmarsh. A level 60 NE death knight I hardly play and a pile of others below level 18.
I've seen people bash EVE who play WoW and the other way around too. I like both games just as much.

I've played EVE more than WoW, but I appreciate them both even though I didn't play WoW for very long at all - I'm just more sci fi oriented, but I don't have the time to play these games enough to grind enough money out of it to play it for free. That being said, I have a navy class Raven, which makes me sad that it's just gathering dust .

Main: http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Shu%27halo&n=Caphias (Pally Power FTW!) All my stuff is on Shu'halo. Been playing for a little over 2 months (my friends who you would never expect to play WoW dragged me in) at first I was skeptical of the game then I saw how fun it was especially when playing with RL friends, I thoroughly enjoy it. And like THOR said, its very possible to balance this game and RL stuff; just we hear about those with no self control the most, thus creating a disproportional stereotype.
