 Chinese Assault Rifle (and other Fallout 3 mods)
Hello! I've decided to start making my Fallout 3 weapons myself. So far I've made: Chinese Assault RifleZhong guo jun dui man yi bao zheng de huo ni de jin qian hou mian de geng ma! (Workhorse of the Chinese army, satisfaction guaranteed or your money back!) This weapon is like a regular Assault Rifle, but shaped much differently and more accurate with a faster reload time. Not extremely effective on its own, but devastating in groups. In the hands of a competent soldier able to charge a small defensive position singlehandedly.  Chinese Pistol (Dual)Standard pistol of Chinese officers. This weapon is a pistol made suckier, true to the description on the Fallout wikia. It, however, does do decent damage if you score headshots, and is alright as a backup weapon, if a bit inaccurate. Now dual-wieldable!  BB GunThis is a BB gun. It acts a lot like a BB gun too. It does low damage to humans (5 damage on a body shot, mebbe around 10-15 on a headshot, nothing to armor) and none to robots. It has a slight firing arc. Railway RifleThe custom-made railway rifle. It fires razor-sharp, high-velocity railroad spikes. Lethal to anyone on a headshot, capable of taking out most soldiers with one hit. Its recoil is capable of shooting a man a foot int the air. It carries 8 spikes to a package. (If anyone could tell me how to customize the shell the rifle spits out, that'd be great.)     Thanks to Gotcha!. Fatman & Experimental MIRVShoots huge mini-nukes into the battlefield. Aim away from face as always. Shoots 8 mini-nukes in quick succession. Be careful when using. The above is an apt description.   Just be careful where you shoot.  Thanks to deathbringer. N99The 10mm N99 sidearm was standard issue military gear following the phase out of the N80 in 2051. The N99 was known for its ability to survive in the harshest of conditions and in many tests, the weapon was able to reliably be restored to working condition after an extended period of time exposed to hard elements and without maintenance. You know,the chinese assault rifle in fallout 3 is a futuristic AK74U.
If you wanted to be original,try doing the mesmetron.

Wow, this BB gun is remarkably realistic. It does no damage, shoots like a shotgun with only one bullet, has 100 bullets in a magazine, and the rounds drop out of the sky.

Try putting all the mods in one .rte. You just put the correct paths and chuck them in together, it works fine, trust me.

Well, I was looking at this mod, and thinking "yeah, nice pack, but nothing out of the usual..." Until I saw: "What the...? A RAILWAY RIFLE!" (OMGOMGOMG) You got my DL and sincere thanks.
EDIT: Finished testing, and I give you two thumbs up. The weapons were pretty good, though simple, and were very effective against most units (I even killed an AAL marine with the railway rifle!) My only suggestions are to give the railway rifle the original sound effects from FL3, it would sound much better. And maybe make the bullet a MOSParticle in the shape of a railway spike... that would be sweet.

Awaaahahaha that MIRV would be awesome if you toned down the 'splosions a bit - keep it up, I like Fallout 3 but I've never gotten round to finishing it, and the guns look pretty good!

Doing so is pretty simple, actually. First, place this piece of code in the beggining of the .ini: Code: AddEffect = MOSParticle PresetName = Railway Spike Mass = 0.1 Sharpness = 10 // DEFINE THESE VARIABLES AS YOU SEE FIT LifeTime = 250 HitsMOs = 1 GetsHitByMOs = 0 SpriteFile = ContentFile FilePath = INSERT RAILWAY SPIKE SPRITE FILEPATH HERE FrameCount = 1 SpriteOffset = Vector X = -3 // YOU MIGHT NEED TO REDEFINE THESE 2 LINES Y = -3 AngularVel = 0 Atom = Atom Material = Material CopyOf = Bullet Metal TrailLength = 0 Framerate = 10
AddAmmo = Round PresetName = Round RailRifle ParticleCount = 10 Particle = MOSParticle CopyOf = Railway Spike Shell = MOSParticle CopyOf = Shell FireVelocity = 90 ShellVelocity = 10 Separation = 5
Then, in the weapon's magazine, change the RegularRound to Round RailRifle, and you are done.

Done! Testing it now. I can't find the sounds, though.
EDIT: Now it's saying it's referring to an instance that hasn't been defined ('Railway Spike').
EDITEDIT: Forget that, I'm dumb and can't read!
EDITEDITEDIT: Wow, that's awesome! The spikes can go through doors and cover!
