Either way, you look like you've got a pretty nice mod there. I'm not liking the sprites too much, but the effects are cool.

You are quite welcome to it, though all it would change is the little header above the items. OP updated with more gifs. I'm most likely releasing the public beta Monday or Tuesday, depending on if I'm satisfied with the polish.

Are the orbs just displaying what element you currently have selected, or are they supposed to release the element? If so then the offsets are way off. And I'd change the lightning one to a light blue background, instead of green like the air-blast thing.

They're visual aids for what spell you have selected, because all the spellbooks for an element group look the same. Lightning stays as green medallion, because it belongs to the nature/water elemental group.

How many spells are there so far? Last time I remember you already had like 10 or so and that was only for one group/element. Anyways looking very forward for this mod.
It really has potential for a deathmatch tournament style gameplay. Imagine some simple arena map and two or more mages with their spell books armed go around blowing each other up. That'd be epic win.

So far, there are 19 spells (though one is a defensive spell, so really 18 weapons), five actors, and a craft.
