Post Phase Digger EX - your walls are puny
I thought that it would be good to update and polish up my one mod that hasn't apparently been lost to the ages.

The Phase Digger is a device that scrambles the structure of immobile objects such that they become nothing more than a firm goop.
It differs from other diggers in a few, important ways:

1. It's completely safe to use! The spray is entirely harmless and can be used around allied soldiers, children, and pets.

2. Gold is totally unaffected by the effect of the beam. The dirt surrounding it can be mushed away and then the gold picked straight up, or quickly gathered by a light digger.

3. It goes through anything that is not gold. Grass, rocks, hard bunker concrete, and (most likely) your favorite ubar 40 million strength bunker mod.

You can see the effect of the gun on some super-strength XtremeBlocks in this picture.

Charmless, haven't you released a mod like this before?

Like, I think you even used the word "Phase" in it.

But I guess it got wiped with everything else, and it is a nifty concept, so it's good.

I'll actually download this because it is useful.

I had to search to know what that was... After using it, I can say that mine is at least more balanced, and actually leaves the gold behind to be collected. And at any rate, my original phase digger was out for like, build 18 or something and may have came first.

@zalo: Yes, this is basically the old phase digger, but brought up to the current build and with a few tweaks and better sprites than the original's (which was basically a placeholder).

This mod has been around for ages.

Various mods like it have been around for even longer.

I think you need a coughdrop.

I still remember this thing, and at least it is faster now!

Now gold extraction will be easier, and we'll now be able to make traps ( the left over residue is fragile enough to be walked through, but not seen/pathed through by AI ) .

Oh, this is awesome. I've had this quite a while, (about a year or something) it was one of those things that got me to do the Railgun.
I love the concept, its so simply done but very effective.

For optimal speeds, and phasing/goo-ifying, set the particle count for both the tracer and the normal round to 10, and it doesn't create lag, unless you have a computer older than about 5 years old.

Why maybe, I only have one computer, and it runs fine ( even though I upped the particle count to 17/17 ( Normal/Tracer ) ) .

So, I guess you should put it to 5/5 particles.
