ok now i have a problem going on with cortex command when experiment on my demo version of the game i have made a pretty cool rocket launcher and when i tell it to be in the game on the demo it pops up as a normal coalition rocket... this baffles me so i am trying to figure out how in the world to fix this... i used the coalition rocket as a base but i have no idea how this is doing all this crap.

so if anyone wants to help plz do...

i'll laugh if Duh answers this post with a "duh" sort of thing... or at least i hope its an easy fix :)

I'm not the type to answer "duh", really.
This could be because of a lot of things, so I suggest uploading the mod for us to troubleshoot.

i fixed it ... oh god LOI I DID!!! *virtual pat on back* it was a really stupid sort of problem i forgot to change the files from coalition to my guns file :roll:

but now i have just one problem when i fire the gun it shoots out a rocket that bounces around until either disappering or exploding... i'll wait til i fix some other things to upload but i think if i can get that fixed it will be an awsome gun

thanks for the reply tho

(and by a "duh" sort of answer i ment a fix that was so simple that i would have said," oh duh" when i saw it

... how do i make the rocket explode on contact with everthing... because right now it just kinda hits something and bounces off half the time and the other half it hits something and blows the crap out of it

also, add this to the material definition for the rocket AEmitter

look in coalition.rte/devices/rifles and use the AEmitter method exampled there.
put the new presetname (its important) and bounce = -0.6 (or -1 if you want all of the explosion to fly towards any craft it hits) under "copyof = military stuff" in the material of the atomgroup.
