Re: Infinity Void
No, you should make a series of scenes in many cool styles.

Quote: Make the stars have an ever so slight sharpness, like 0.00000001 sharpness, so staying out for ages on end will eventually kill you. One assumes that the orbs emit light, so whatever makes them do that will be slightly harmful.
Noo! He did do this- my guys' heads explode randomly. I'm definitely digging the map though. Perfect size for 1 player death skirmish. Stars are pretty.

Re: Infinity Void
Sharpness does not equal damage. Sharpness equals what it can penetrate, if it was at 0.0001 then it wouldn't be able to penetrate anything and it wouldn't matter.
And it probably destroyed actor's heads because collisions are glitchy and weird stuff happens.

Re: Infinity Void
I think FlammableZombie has a nice idea, but it probsably won't work.. I'll do it in my own version, and tell you how it comes out.

Re: Infinity Void
I like blue planets. But if it's truly a void, then you'd make an alternate version where everything's color is inverted. Well, maybe except for the actors.

Re: Infinity Void
w00t! I got another planet to nuke now!
But seriously this map is really cool. I was waiting for something like that to come out.
It doesn't really take a genius to make these blue textures but the result is clearly monster spectacular. Good stuff!

And it probably destroyed actor's heads because collisions are glitchy and weird stuff happens. Correction, Sharpness alone does not equal damage. Sharpness plus any amount of mass does not add damage. Sharpness + velocity = damage if you have a Pinned MOPixel, with sharpness, and 0 mass, and any other object moves to hit it, said object will be pierced, and take damage. Mass does not factor in to sharpness & velocity. so if your jet-packing around a cloud of sharp MOPixels, you will die. If the AI is casually walking and crawling through the same cloud, they might just take a small amount of damage. I think thats really damn cool.

Re: Infinity Void
Whitty does it again. No matter what he touches, it will glow. I had some really good laughing when I noticed this map pumps glow at the user right when I thought that scenes were something you could have not touched with your glows. But enough of that crap. The map is awesome and looks good. The lag isnt too fun, but theres no other way of doing it anyways to achieve that effect. Good work!

Re: Infinity Void
AWESOME. Now make some blue skinned actors to go with it! Or take the tau and remove the helmet.
