Post 4 months later....
I went from twelve to thirteen in one of those waits a long time ago.

Anyway, this is nothing compared to Pixelux's "We'll have it by the end of next week".
Then, 7 months later, we hear that it got delayed and they hope to have it out "soon".

No exaggeration, 7 months is a loooonnggg time.

As far as i remind,i'm here since there are blog entries about Data Modules. ( nearest build is b07)

Then went woohoo when there was mouse play.

I waited so much for some builds that i pulled out CC for a while then, seeing "Bx is out woohoo" , i went exactly the same woohoo !

Then bought the game on b21 when i realised data needed our help.

aaah.... Long long times...

Data has gone yet again.

Fair enough that he's keeping us updated on his life but quite frank, I want more often updates on CC (dev log updates that is, not new builds)

Apparently it's just a new way for activities to work and some new units. I fail to see why we should wait for some new units, when Maginot could be finished easy as pie within a few weeks if you're an extraordinarily bad coder.

He might not have much to update, or just stuff that he doesn't think are worth updating.

That's the new stuff in the Mac build, released a month after b22. Apparently there's other things going on for b23, such as optimization of the physics calculations. Better be, for another three months after the mac build. That 6-page list of things was compiled by Data, so grab a handful and hope he's done them.

He's busy with job, wife, and AK47. Also, he's not known for saying much about his progress, aside from vague IRC reports.

That was one soldier light. Totally unmodified.

You can understand why I use the past tense.

I think most people here would be sad if Data died.

He just won two awards at IGF, I don't think he intends on dying any time soon.

Wow, won two awards! Hung over now; more details later.

Not dead. Hung over.
I'm sure we'll hear back on it soon. Apparently he ripped his shirt off on-stage, so I'm sure he at least has something to say about it :P
