Is there a way to disallow the AI from using the AAL actors/vehicles? New to the modding of this game; if anyone can point me in the direction of a tutorial, that would be keen. :cool:

1) Go to AAL.rte folder
2) Open Index.ini
3) Find this:

Code:
     IncludeFile = AAL.rte/Activities.ini

4)Do this:

Code:
//     IncludeFile = AAL.rte/Activities.ini

5)Save, close the file and run the game

So basically you just put 2 forward slashes infront of that line of code. (//)
Its used for disabling parts of code or simply leaving a comment how the codee works ect.

Numgun, there's a weird glitch with the slayers. Occasionally, A slayer will randomly die and flip into the air for no reason at all. It gets even weirder because he always manages to revive himself mid-flight and land. When this happens, his life bar disappears and he stares at the ground. The weirdest part is: When he stares downwards, he nothing can hit him. Rounds and actors just go through him. WTF? :roll:

Heres a picture for you PICS OR IT DIDNT HAPPEN people. Snake is inside the slayer. D:

Happens with turrets too. They die, but somehow quickly heal back and the game does not know how to deal with them.

Also I love the Horizontal map, it's currently my most played map on this build.

Unfortunately thats the issue you get when you make units with regenerative abilities. Good thing that crafts dont have trouble from it.

Although I'll set lower wound limits on those units like the slayer and the turret to if an AI trooper will end up shooting at one "undead" aal unit, it should eventually gib.

Also I was thinking of upgrading the Reaper fighter's cannons to the same that the Linear tank has.
Should make it a tad more fun to use. :grin:

And also I'll be experimenting with a new weapon for aal. It floats like the harvester and you control it near a bunch of opponents and activate it. This device will turn into a black hole and suck in all and any unfortunate people/guns/items in a nice radius after what the black hole will be overloaded with mass and fall on the ground after what it will implode, killing everything it took inside. Need a name for this thing though.

Btw todays march 30th, right? Then if filefront wasnt kidding, my links are dohnuts.
Another good reason to update. :)

That just sounds like an antimass or extramass production line.
