Bugger, you caught me here. I had not thought of this when I did it and I was almost sure I had the units priced right.

It seems some rebalancing should be done. The Slayers arent so durable as I intended them in the first place, but the reason on that was balance so that they wouldnt be overpowered and nearly invincible.

Then it seems that not all like the idea of not being able to buy new guns to the troops that lost theirs during a fight or other event. The idea behind this was when an AAL troop was made ungunned, he was either to retreat to refund the money and get a new unit for the same refund price with all the guns and tools. Or alternatively pick up a new random weapon lying around the map. :???:

Also some wierd ♥♥♥♥ is going on with my files. Whenever I try to make a new ini and attempt to load CC, it gets borked and makes some of the wierdest errors I've ever encountered during modding CC.
Infact, I lost some new guns that were ment for official content because of this. :(

Anyways, I'll be taking a nice fat break from CC modding for now.

Maybe you could make the TIC a lot cheaper, but charge for ammunition.

Actually I never used the titan. The main reason I used to use it was for the Narwing because it had awesome guns and a pilot came out of it. I was a little disappointed that you changed the guns, and more disappointed that you made the pilot assigned to team -1. Of course, I just changed my ini so it is assigned to team 0 now, but still. : )

I really liked the plasma-C or whatever it was called.

I want the titan back too, it was perfect for attacking bases. Drop your guys, start flying around the map, and crash on the bunker. Massive hole, and explosion kills most inside.

Can you tell more specificly what could be improved? That kind of comment wont help me make the mod better in anyway.

The reason for that was balanced multiplayer. I designed this mod to work as a good multiplayer mod without having much advantage of one team for the other. If I left that the pilots would be still controllable, the opponent would be f'd since his vehicles can leave a pilot of the other team too. Making 2 version would just clutter the menu and would be pointless anyways.

We don't need the strong bit, just give us a dropship that can land 3 troops on AI mode with a 95% success rate instead of a 1% rate like the freighter and every other crappy dropship.

I just think all round, the thrusters need to be improved, I just feel that when I order the cargo ship, it's thrusters should have more fire, or like your last version, a kind of blue type thing. And the fact you can't order individual weapons. If I want to give say, a darkstorm unit a TES, I can't. While in your last version, if I wanted to give the unit a AAL Cutter, I could. If you would fix those two issues, then this mod would be my Number One Favorite.

i like the freighter more than the titan. the titan felt too big, and awkward. the freighter feels powerfully bulky, while still of a practical size. and its thrusters dont rape the terrain nearly as much.
i dont see how anyone could have preferred the old version, but i still think this needs more work too.. a mod of this caliber shouldnt ever leave those uber-sharp-particle stars on the map, and should have proper gibs for everything. heck, even if most of them were just MOSP animations of bits of the ship disintergrating i'd be happier than i am with *ship is gone, initiate fireball*

Well, the oily smoke from the jetpacks felt nice, and the slug rifle fired real slugs instead of these pussy energy balls :c
Titan.

Buyable grenades, I don't want to buy three units to grenade those digging idiots out of their hole.

I liked the bunker tiles though I would like some AAL versions of stairs and barricades even if it is just a re texture. The tiles themselves were good. The giant turret doesn't feel worth the money for something that just shoots wimpy slugs, Either make them have more mass or have them be launched faster because currently they may as well be shooting cardboard boxes. The amber turrets were good for the price. The Troopers are better then they were in the last one but the stalker seems a bit weak for its 1000 gold price. The Freighter handles good, as for the other crafts I haven't messed with them much but the materializer is basically a expensive version of the drop box. The weapons are good but I would like some buy able extras like some grenades or the sword to balance out some areas that the themed units lack in (sniper at close combat for example). Over all this is a great mod. 8/10

Another funny thing is that filefront.com is going to shutdown soon and
I've conviniently hosted this mod there.
