Post How to fix this?
I get an error from my homemade gun... :abortion in file .\System\ContentFile.cpp, line 549, because:Failed to load datafile object with following path and name:
Revolver.rte/Devices/Pistols/Revolver000
The last frame has been dumped to 'abortscreen.bmp'

How do i fix that?

Is your gun called revolver000.bmp, or just revolver.bmp? It might also be a bad format for the sprite. It needs to be .bmp.

In whatever .ini the gun is in, find Framecount (it should be under the filepath for the sprite) and set it to 1 instead of 2.

That's only if he needs 2 frames, otherwise it's wasted space

You fire an emitter which emits the round. Though you have to have more seperation so you don't get killed when moving...

OR, set the emitter's emit offset. The separation thing might kill you faster, since it is both forward and back.
Code:
   EmissionOffset = Vector
      X = 5
      Y = 0

RateOfFire = 750

Should be enough.
