   |   Re: Triad Roboticswell i like the mod. its weapons arent all creative but some are. and the sprites arent that bad. heres a quick list of things i would like.
the robots are very light and cant take that much damage(before there limbs asplode[even the bulkhead])

some weapons need some work(rifle needs to have more rounds and slower fire rate.)(everything needs a slight damage increase[be wary tho as the weapons rape fleshy targets but do very little to armored ones{dont want overpowered guns either])

sprites need a few pixels and a little more time but they arent that bad.(make them a tad darker)

some muzzle offsets are off(i know its annoying and takes a while but just bog down and do it!)

(i can help with sprites if you want)

   |   Re: Triad RoboticsThis would be a pretty rad mod if the weapon sprites weren't awful.
Ditch the black outlining, and you'll have an A+ mod.

   |   Re: Triad RoboticsNice job on the sprites and actors, but i dont like the semi-auto that much..i would love to see some fully automatic guns besides the others..
i guess i just like to go rambo and spray all over the map :F
otherwise i have a pretty good feeling this will become awesome after you add
maybe one or two actors more, and some new weapons, good job on the brain-dude too,
finally something really weak and almost defenceless to protect,
besides the vanilla brainbot. Keep on the good work.

   |   Re: Triad RoboticsThe mafia thing really doesn't matter. I based most of the faction on the number 3, and Triad is a cool word, and I think the Asian twist is kinda cool. I don't want to make a full auto bullet spraying machinegun thing, there are plenty of those already So far what I'm getting is the weapons are underpowered and don't look as good as the actors. I don't know what you guys are playing against but I do fine against a fully coalition activities setup, they seemed like a good standard to aim for in balancing. Maybe I'm too used to my own weapons from all the testing I noticed the AI was pretty bad with my weapons, though, except with the laser and well-placed defenders using the Barrage Cannon. Not that I have any time to fix this, but thanks for the feedback once again!

   |   Re: Triad Roboticswho cares? i've been working on a mod for ages with the main "hero" called The Runner, you think im going to rework the name and his profession just because numgun and triad have robots called the same thing? No, i aren't. If, for some reason, it were required i would change it from an alias to a proper name, but runner suits a scoutbot just fine. i suppose scoutbot does too though

   |   Re: Triad RoboticsWhy don't you make the weapons fire charged bolts of electricity instead of bullets?

   |   Re: Triad RoboticsJust a thought...Make it like 2000 if it's gonna be Over Powered, then you have to buy a free brain case without the money/activity hax. And even then it doesn't mean you can build a bunker.
