Commanding multiple troops at once?
Is this in the game, if not, it would be cool, like zombie rushes or something....

Re: Commanding multiple troops at once?
I would imagine that something to look into, would be a squad-like A.I. stance.
You would goto 'Squad' on the pie menu, and select all of the actors that will be in the squad. Like the follow command, they would follow eachother, as in they all move as one, no matter who you're controlling, but whilst firing, the bullets would pass through squadmates. Some have tried modding actors so that they can follow other actors, and bullets will pass through them. Unfortunately, that would require something like making them a 'background.'

Re: Commanding multiple troops at once?
As of this build you can use the Go To AI mode to set checkpoints on other actors, thus making them follow them. Unfortunately, the AI is just really, really dumb, and can rarely pathfind to the followed actor without getting stuck or dying.
It can be made so that bullets and the like pass through an actor, (GetsHitByMOs = 0) but this makes all bullets pass through them, not just teammates bullets.
Also, if you mean commanding in general, Patrol AI mode is quite useful if you don't have five hands, although the patrol actors tend not to last very long anyway.

you know what the better thing is? that you can make actors walk through each other by turning hitsmos off. this makes them still get hit by all bullets though.

If you take a look at the gameplay video posted by Data for IGF, the AI seems to have vastly improved in terms of finding waypoints.

In context with his other sentence I'm pretty sure that's sarcasm.

I hope Data adds a function where you can pause the game and issue orders, then resume, so you're not risking your guys being turned to pulp by a falling rocket while you organise them into a squad. Also, he should make it so friendly actors don't collide with eachother.

On the Zombie level I learned go it alone. With an AI following me they always get the impulse to shoot through me at the zombies.
