Hi,
This Killzone based mod, made by me and my friend, is now here for all of you to enjoy. This is not finished, and we'll be adding more content to it in the next few weeks. This IS our first mod, so don't expect to see anything ground-breaking. Also, notice that this mod is not entirely faithful to the original Killzone.

-- Helghan Sniper Rifle
Basic Helghast sniper rifle.

-- Assortment of pistols
Basic pistol, auto pistol, auto shotgun pistol.

-- Auto Shotgun
The frame of this shotgun was stolen from the ISA faction. The Helghan model features an automatic firing mode.

-- Helghan Assault Rifle
The basic assault rifle that forms the backbone of the Helghan military.

-- Heavy Machine Gun
The basic heavy machine gun used by the heavy/medium Helghast soldiers.

-- Squad Cannon (Will be updated soon)
An extremely powerful handheld cannon, that shreds everything to pieces. Semi-Automatic.

-- Grenade Launcher
Normal grenade launcher, mostly used only by the Elite Helghan troops. This updated grenade laucher now features a revolving clip for a faster firing rate.

-- Rocket Launcher
A rocket launcher with 3 rockets per clip. Extremely fast firing rate. WARNING! DO NOT USE AT CLOSE-QUARTERS!

-- Heavy Flamer (Will be updated soon)
The ultimate close-quarters weapon. Causes severe burns.

-- Grenade pistol (NOT READY YET!)
A single-shot grenade, handy if don't have a direct line of fire.

-- Minigun (NOT READY YET!)
The heaviest gun in the Helghast arsenal.

-- Compact Helghan Rifle (NOT READY YET!)
A smaller version of the basic helghan rifle. The small size required the omission of the automatic firing mode. This compact version uses larger bullets, that have better penetration capabilities.

-- Combat Knife (NOT READY YET!)
Deadly at close-quarters.

-- Helghast Assault Shield (NOT READY YET!)
Protects the vital parts of the body.

-- Helghast Light
Basic infantry unit. Light armor.

-- Helghast Medium
Basic infantry unit. Medium armor.

-- Helghast Heavy (NOT READY YET!)
Basic infantry unit. Heavy armor. Jetpack is replaced with jump-boots.

-- Helghast Commander (NOT READY YET!)
Will be able to act as your brain. The brain of the commander is not dependent on the body, this means that the brain will survive if the body is destroyed.

-- Helghast Elite (NOT READY YET!)
No armor at all. Comes pre-equipped with 2 frag grenades, one combat knife and a Compact Helghan Rifle.

Great, another game spinoff, and this time it's not finished! Put it in Mod making, that's where WIPs go.

To correct this eager fellow, you needn't move this thread. You can if you like, but mod making is more for mods that don't work yet. Mods with downloads can and should be put in mod releases.

In response to your mod, I await pictures before download, but it looks like you have a reasonable lineup of devices so far. For the knives, are there two in the game that you want to replicate? You could probably do fine with just one.

I'm sorry, but I think this is complete enough to be posted in the releases section. I guess I didn't say it the best possible way, but this is just going to be updated with more content.

Thanks for the support :) Also, I got an overall picture of the mod, nothing specific yet.

In response to your comment about the knives: No, we'll stick with one simple combat knife.

Added picture of the current actors. I will be adding specific pictures of each weapon later today or tomorrow.

Also, some of the weapons, like the flamer will be re-skined.

EDIT: Deleted the Sawn-Off shotgun, because it didn't fit in the overall theme.

These look good just one thing, The sawn-off looks like a extremely large pistol. Not that its a bad thing just thought you would like to know. I never played killzone so if its suppose to be like that I apologize.

I am not going to download it now, but I am definitely going to later.

Thanks. The sawn-off has been deleted from the mod, because it just didn't fit the style.

Hello everybody, firstly, I am very happy for the positive feedback WE are getting from making this. There are some things that I'm going to add (as the "spriter"):

1. Re-color the flamer; that, in my opinion, looks still horrible.

2. Add a few actors; I'm going to add atleast the Helghast officer, a heavy soldier (which will be a enemy in Killzone 2), and the Helghast scout, there will be more, but IF you have any troop suggestions, PLEASE give us your opinion of what should be added or made better.

3. Adding new weapons and troop transportations; we have a drop-pod in thought, but new weapons are hard to make, since we practically used almost every Helghast weapon in this mod, not all, but almost all. We will definately use the weapons from Killzone 2 when it comes out. I will also improve our old gun skins, if possible.

Hey I did not mean to delete the whole thing, if you want to it's cool. I just meant that the sprite is a bit "off".
