I guess really these units would act however the brain controlling it feels. Though ideally a shinobi would be used quietly. The shogun and oni, with all their grappling and smashing things, would probably make anybody controlling them feel like screaming like maniacs. I know I would. I don't think any fancy explanations are really necessary.

@Geti: The Kitsune is about the size of a large dog. And it is supposed to walk on all fours and it has multiple swaying tails, so it should be distinctive from other units regardless of its relative size.

Okay, but at least not make it stoop over. If it did I would abandon this mod altogether. This is the only truly elegantly designed mod I can find. A giant Shogun is alright, but having it stooped over is not. All clones on their own have (approximately) The same amount of intelligence as a monkey, with a receiver in their reptilian brain and no cortex. The controller would not want to be stooped over, because that means the controller's back would hurt whenever he took control of the 'monkey'. Please just make it intelligent enough to pull the trigger on a gun.

What weapons will the Oni have? I was thinking it could have a minigun that you need to buy crates of ammo for and a gravity glove that can grab stuff from a distance.

Well, I'd then have to make guns big enough for its hands, which I don't feel like doing. This isn't really a "big guns" mod. If I wanted to make a large mech that had weapons, I'd forgo articulated hands and just graft the weapons directly to the mech, which if you want to argue realism is a much more sensible approach. The Oni is going to have big meaty hand for one reason, and thats to grab stuff. It'll be pretty hard to take down, so giving it long-range weapons would probably be unfair in the long run. It'll have to get close and be a very easy target to do damage, but it will do lots of damage.

Also, this is my mod and I'll choose whatever aesthetic I like. It'll be hunched over, breathing heavily, and even drooling a little. If you want a normal upright super-mech, go check out the new AAL release. Numgun has just what you're looking for.

But they can still shoot on their own. Also, if the Oni can carry people, doesn't that also mean it can put them in its inventory and act as a land transport/capture unit?

i dont think you'd be able to switch items somehow.. someone will be able to make a unit like that though, easily once lua is available for actors (or maybe even firearms)
incidentally, i just noticed that in the version i had (i dont think it was quite the most recent) there were 666 files in total.
