... aand I can't fix it for some reason. Can't load the digger magazine... Then Put a "/" before "IncludeFile = TauStealthPack.rte/Tau_digger/TPD.ini" In the index.ini and you will can see the stealth XV15... gtaiiilc wrote: NaXx wrote: 9 downloads and nobody have nothing to say? well all I can say is I like it but the body is to blue for the arms and stuff but other than that good job! Thanks ^^ I don't know how to make the body better...

Re: W40k:Tau U-P-D-A-T-E !!!!
i saved it but between watching movies, doing stuff IRL, and having to help 4 people make character sheets for my D&D Campaign, I've been kind of busy. I'll be checking it out when I have the time.

Re: W40k:Tau U-P-D-A-T-E !!!!
Can you make the sticky-up part of the suit be an attachment, rather than part of the jetpack? Seems silly it's immune to gunfire (which jetpacks sadly are). Otherwise... it's so far always died before any armor has fallen off (from the buy menu I know at the least there's a head under there), and... it just doesn't seem vaguely stealthy to me.

I like the effort everyones been putting it, but its gone WAY far from stuff in the codex. also the stealth suit hurts my eyes a little... its to jarring in CC compared to 90% of CC

Re: W40k:Tau U-P-D-A-T-E !!!!
ok... tested the stealth suit... it looks good... but... the back hand has wrong offsets. make it a tad smaller. make the back antena thinkie a litle smaller. make the back antena thinkie gibable. other than that i find it very good...

Re: W40k:Tau U-P-D-A-T-E !!!!
Okay. Seriously.
The backpack should be an attachable, and gib-able. The fusion blaster has HORRIBLE offsets, and a bad sprite. The stealthsuit's shoulderpad is to dark, and sized wierd. the legs don't work right, the hands aren't attached to the arms.
the diggers look like giant badges or something.
the diggers are overpowered.
you can bypass the force of the diggers by making the 'ammo' shells, and changing the shell offsets and velocities. (Shell mass doesn't push any held Device.)
I'm honestly a bit pissed at something else so i'm not going to talk anymore... I'm only posting because I wanna see this actually turn into a finished project.

Honestly, can we just get the stuff that's actually accurate and possible first? If you're making major parts of the mod then read into how things are meant to work. Otherwise we're going to get a mish-mash of stuff that looks vaguely Tau but isn't.... Thank you for pointing that out... that was in words i haven't been able to string together in the last few days... I honestly havent been doing ANYTHING with CC all week because of other things. like a failed D&D campaign, and guitar hero... oh and not having any food.

Ah, hypoglycemia is never fun...
Anyway, I think Miles said he was doing an XV88-2, the next on the list would be a redone fire warrior. After that a pathfinder. We should probably wait until build 23 for stealthsuits, 'cos frankly, it's going to have to be redone with stealth when there is b23. Possibilities are drones and possibly dropships. After the XV88-2 is done it shouldn't be too hard to resprite and slightly recode it into an array of XV8s. No pressure though...

No pressure though... actually, Stealth can be done now, but its ugly as ♥♥♥♥. add Glows in that obnoxious pink/null color, it hides everything... at least it used to, i dont remember how many builds ago it was found... Also, yeah, fixing the old stuff might have to come first.... I suggest that everyone does there own version of the old stuff and uploads it as (Creator name).rte for comparison. IE "O NOEZ TEH PULSE RIFLES R TEH BORKED FIX EET" Everyone, Make a new pulse rifle, even if it re-uses the sprites. I figure between 411570N3 and myself, we're picky enough to make sure its true to both the fluff and table-top rules.
