This game is very fun. It's one of the only games where teamwork is practically the only way to survive. I love triggering car alarms

Everybody I play with doesn't take the game seriously.
(It might be me or something, I don't know)

Because we've all beaten the campaigns twenty millions times. The only reason to play L4D now is to ♥♥♥♥ around.

It's not that I don't get a rush from having to struggle for my virtual life, but having that struggle be induced by an actual human just takes all the glory out of it.

A Big Update with more content and the SDK is coming "soon".
A DLC is coming, with an SDK that will include 12 new maps for a new Game Mode called "Survival".
But it's likely to cost quite a bit of money.

Re: Left 4 Dead
By 12 new maps, do they mean the 8/10 maps that still need versus versions plus a few more, or 12 all new ones?
You could say that the original had 30 maps, but it really only had 20 unique ones...

No, we have played L4D so much that it's not fun without making every loud noise possible.

Re: Left 4 Dead
Augh this game is everything I thought it would be; a ridiculous over the top arcade-y zombie slaughter fest. When is someone going to make a zombie game about barricading, rationing ammunition and other supplies in short stock, and teamwork that rewards the player, instead of forcing other teammates to do something boring and repetitive, such as "press X to release friend from sort of deadly grip"?
There has never been a good zombie game with humans as the weak ones, I doubt one would sell well. ;_;

Re: Left 4 Dead
i sort of agree with jack though, zombies should take a lot to take down, rather than being shredded by an uzi. i do love the director though.

Re: Left 4 Dead
I always imagine a game like that to be in a top-down view like the old Fallouts or Diablo.
Would be really cool though, having to go out and look for food and things.

Re: Left 4 Dead
The only bits I like in that are the man eating KFC, the same guy shooting a gun with his arse and the Boomer waddling around the corner.
