Hey, I'm having trouble using the ypsilon cannon, you think you could make a dropship that shoots like a ypsilon? Hrrrrmmmm? Actually I have a whole idea for an orbital weapons platform that has a huge ypsilon-like overkill beam as one of its features. But I wont do it in this nor in the next few builds. I need some... things for it. <.<

Hey, it seems to work just fine on the Mac version if the strike raven is gotten rid of. Also, where is the Ypsilon Cannon? I've heard much about it, but it isn't in the download in the first post.

Yeah, thanks to you. Although theres a small bug with it: Attached emitters on guns only emit at one direction. Yes it will aim with the gun up and down, but if you turn around to aim at the other direction, the pointer will be emitter the dot in the wrong direction. I countered this by having 2 emitters on the sniper. As long as you can ignore the other dot behind you, its cool. Its also very useful in skirmish when a red dot is pointed at you, you know that you gotta duck right away or your head will be splattered. I tested a few rounds of skirmish against AAL. Was awesome. And its very hard if you use vanilla units to defend like I did a moment ago. But its satisfyingly fun and possible to defend. My fighting the MPAM with a heavy sniper. I actually damaged that mech pretty good until it killed me with the railcannon. Another epic moment where an MPAM approaching from the left side climbed to the window like king kong and pointed its machinegun at me. Messy. Eventually a sneaky pilot dug a hole with his digger and killed my brain along with the 2 dreadnoughts guarding it. And I was at the time fighting the 2 MPAM with the coalition dude.

I'm glad the new MPAM will actually be fightable... look at this picture. That hole wasn't made by a bomb or a digger, that's the imprint from the MPAM being repeatedly driven into the ground by a rather high powered weapon- and it's barely damaged!

Yeah I'm lowering the Pushforces on their limbpaths. Theyre the reason why that was happening, their steps were so powerful that it simply pushed in any terrain loose and repeatedly this caused those holes.
Btw I actually got the marine and the slayer to crawl... kind of. They look very retarded when they do it, but I dont care. It works and those 2 units werent ment to crawl. They were ment to stop the living crap out of their foes.

Hehe, nah, I did manage to blow it's arms and legs off, that's the deepcheck making the holes after it's buried up past it's head. Limbless MPAMS are still nearly unstoppable wrecking balls... that one ate at least a few hundred wounds, and it's still at 86 hp.

I was expecting the reason you were now doing something like this to be that Data finally fixed the horizontal flipping of attached emitters and their parent objects, and you were using your position to be the first with a chance to make use of it. Which would also be kinda lame, but it would mean a new feature, which I could never oppose.

Why is the Strike Raven such a mole? I took a Raven and dove at the ground headfirst, followed by repeatedly boosting, and made an epic 50 foot deep hole straight into a base Kinda useful, but not too realistic. Anyways, the Slug Sniper sounds cool, and the Slayer / New Marine are practically orgasmic looking.

However, I'm starting to have this little itch that I might even release it for this build too. I just have the feeling it will work on it since the only major thing changed is official content guns and units and the way how activities.ini works. @ Ragdollmaster: There is no Strike Raven in the new AAL. Now I need some help again. I'm making a tank as I said and its coming well, but I have no name for it. Anyone got suggestions for it? Its a fairly large hover tank with a powerful energy cannon and a regensystem.
