Well, currently I'm trying to made a kinda stronger version of the Ronin's Peacemaker, but I have no idea what all of the coding does. Also, when I use it in the game, it looks like he's holding the barrell. So.... coding help por favor.

Thank you all for the tutorials. Now, this may be over-ambitious, but is there a way that I can make casings come out of the gun instead of it's magazine? What I mean is, instead of firing the gun once, and a casing flies out the back, all of the casings come out of it and drop to the ground like a magazine would.

You'd need to... um... if you can, attach an emitter to the magazine (both of which would be invisable), and have it emit something the recoil of which would gib the magazine into the casings. I think.

Holy crap, thanks. What I'm doing with this is making a custom Team Fortress 2 mod, featuring most of the weapons, all of the characters, and maybe even a map or two.

Alright, the only thing I have left to do is mess with how much damage it does, how penetrating it is, and how much kick-back it gives, where can I edit these in the code?

A careful balance of the following:
Raioh wrote:
how penetrating it is

Sharpness and mass and velocity of the particles that hit actors or terrain.
Raioh wrote:
how much kick-back it gives

The mass of the particles defined in the round, as well as the fire velocity.

Remember: if your bullet goes more than about 10 pixels into the ground that's too much. Turn down your sharpness.
If your actor moves backwards or jumps backwards (or explodes) when firing the gun, that's too much unless it's that kind of gun (for example a giant revolver, cannon or sniper).
