Nope, it seems progress from Data's side has halted for now and there have been no updates from him for a few months now. He's most likely busy with other stuff like personal things or something. Right now I'm trying to create stuff from what I have and do spriting on my own since we havent gotten any sprites from prom since the time he did the zombie cave stuff.

well, fair enough in that regard i suppose, if a little disconcerting. he's likely been busy with the IGF and all that. good luck making ♥♥♥♥, hopefully its more well received than the last lot was, i like the vanilla loadout for the most part though at the moment anyway. can we have a previews topic? im in a greedy mood.

What, dual wield? Meh, I've done that on almost all my mods - sometimes it has fun results. Like with OrkGothic's Ork Rockit Pistol. If you have two and line them up they explode in your face.

Dualwield is already done in the new AAL, they'll come dualwielded for you mech by default. Also I just finished the mobile brain unit of AAL: Runner He's fast, can fly, has ability to regenerate health and is equipped with a small thermal gun to defend itself. Pretty cool huh? Credits to No_0ne for the KMF raptor as a base for it.

He looks more like a small scouting unit then a brain unit . Maybe make a bigger one? Remember, bigger is better!

Numgun, please stop being so awesome. Do it for the children. Can't wait for B23 then we can have this mod in our grasp. Maybe just a tiny bit bigger, he doesn't look that intimidating.

Krumbs wrote: Doesn't look like a brain unit. Seconded. It looks hella cool, and can even regenerate its health (if you change the brain unit to something else please keep that feature) but I don't think this should be your brain unit. I think it's closer to the Pilot/Marine hybrid you were talking about earlier. I think the brain unit should be somewhat spherical and simply hover around. Or then again, maybe it could be a bit like the Whitebots' Brainbot, except beefier and with an extra layer of reinforced glass to protect it.

Yeah it does look like a scout. I'll probably stick a flag or some satellite dish on it. My goal was to make it a small dude like this so you could easily get anywhere you want and quickly.
Another thing about AAL, is that it doesnt have disembodied brains in jars nor controllers and other that kind of stuff. In AAL, a "Brain" units consist of something important like an energy reactor or a command system relay (inside the runner) or simply a "hero" unit like Tanya in red alert 2.

I have an idea, when the runner dies, it gibs out a small defenseless brain unit, so you have, like a second chance! I wonder if your suggestion box is a garbage can.

That looks very cool... since you're gonna be messing with it to look more important, maybe have the bigger/tricked out version be the brain unit, and keep a more generic looking version as some sort of actual soldier?

Funny, I just thought of that :p Probably yeah. It works great as a hit and run unit although the weapon is not so amazing, but as a scout, it would excel great for scouting.

numgun wrote: Your suggestions are set to go straight into the incinerator. Most of them atleast. You must be warm during all the cold nights now... So, it has mini TERs, if I remember, that thing can go through a lot of units, and is partially explosive ( as in sometimes it goes a boom boom ) .
