Your idea for the assault rifle is pretty much what the beast minigun is, and there's no way to make that any less powerful, but I'll think of something for the rounds. It could always just be standard bullets, i need a more normal weapon. Love the design of it.


As for the tesla pack: you don't make it easy for me, do you allen. Awesome idea, should be 'interesting' programming it.

Edit (Edited on 23rd Jan): Just got the SCRAP's jetpack working, I'll do the Oyster's add a few more gibs and release. Won't be for awhile though, I'm working on my RL account at the moment.

Bumpdate (sorry for double post mods).

New stuff:
more gibs, especially for the scrap
Scrap has unusual wound system which means it gibs 9/10 times it dies.
Oyster has smokey wounds (thanks for the smoke geti!!)
SCRAP and Oyster JP have new jetpack effects, smoke trails FTW!

Oooh, pretty smoke... jealous. :P Apparently the Oyster's legs are crazy heavy, he moved like a tugboat with two but like superman when one got blown off.

yeah, he has 6 (I think) heavy armour plates. On each leg.

downloading now, great to hear my smoke's being used.
also, about the tesla pack.. it would sort of seem more Asplode Corp to annihilate the user aswell.. so if you want to use it to storm a base you have to have some guys outside when the guy goes in and assrapes everyone with lightning.

I really like this mod, but I am somewhat diappointed about the lack of weapons.
Maybe make a clusterbomb? Still downloaded.

what? i made it from scratch, if you're implying its ripped.
it wasnt used in as many places as i expected, but thats all good. i cant seem to get my guys to last, even my oysters die pretty easily..

yeah, i love dynamic stuff too. id love the scraps more if they leaked smoke and made "fail engine" noises. and because they gib so easily, you should make their attachables shatter upon hitting the ground, or after a particularly heavy fall (low jointstrength and gibimpulselimits)

Ok, @ raintail: I know, I know. More weapons are coming, I just need to think of more ideas (I don't want any conventional weapons. Maybe one). I have a gun in the works at the moment, so you can expect that... next update I suppose.

@Geti: ...I'll just add more gibs, and add in a better death noise (it's currently silent due to a massive bug hunt I performed.)


For anyone who is interested, you may notice the SCRAP's legs have massive gibwoundlimit and really low joint strength limit.

this is because for some completely unknown reason (trust me, tried EVERYTHING), if the legs are gibbed the conventional way, the game crashes. But if the gib because they're broken off by force, they don't crash.

This system's a little hacky, but hey, it works!
