Why don't you upload it to the site? Some people don't bother downloading if its on another site.

Gold generators should be like drills. That you place on the surface of the terrain with an emmiter that shoots a very deep hole (but narrow) to the bottom of the map. The excuse for it is that it draws the gold hidden deep below the limit of the map. With it being on the surface and subseptable to gunfire you have to keep it well defended.

Nah make it like a oil rig, have drill on top large metaltube going to bottom of map. But i would make it rain lava.

I think it'd be cool if there was one kinda like an oil well, that just shoots gold up and to the sides, and you have do dig it up yourself afterward. 'course, making something like that would be 99% sprite and I'm not a good artist...

What menu can this be found under, I've looked everywhere in-game and I can't find it. Well maybe that's because I have so many mods.

I put that in the OP, just to make things clear. Also, for you who like to download from DRL, I put it on here too. Gotcha! donated some nice sprites, so there you are also. Enjoy.

Or you could leave it as is because the whole point is it's a slightly more fair way of cheating with money, making it some highly explosive big awkward thing is IRRITATING. I've been waiting for someone to make a decent one of these for this build, Downloaded.

I never said big or highly explosive. My idea is that it should be a small, managable, replacable, expendable peice of ordinary machinery that breaks ordinarily when fed bullets. I find the idea of money generating orbs to be a bit silly. Perhaps even an ACrocket that stands on the surface and is told to return. Its thruster is the gold emmiter.

v1.03 Enjoy. I made one that you can dig the gold instead of accumulating it automatically. I personally find it a nuisance.

I've been waiting for one of these that worked properly ever since I found cortex command, like, 10 builds ago.
thanks. I also want to know how they work...

Grif wrote: Gold generators have been made for builds and builds. Yeah, but this particular one particularly resembles another particular one. Both use brain-esque glass. Both make yellow sparkly gold from the center. Both automatically collect it by colliding with it from the glass walls. Both have an annoying unavoidable constant gold collection sound. The old one also functioned as a brain though, which was nice. And it's yellow sparkly gold looked nicer, at the time, as it was a small, crisp pixel glow. I'm not saying it's a stolen concept, but it goes to show that it's not very creative. That isn't to say it's not well done, but it's got zero novelty, which I personally value highly in mods. If I wanted a somewhat balanced gold cheat like this, I'd go dig up the old one this is like, if I could, just because I liked it's appearance better, and it's brain double function, although with the loss of pixel glows, the sparks would be kinda boring now. But it looked like a defective light bulb sparking from the filament and I particularly liked that for some reason. So as for constructive criticism, in the future, do something that's somehow new or interesting. And make that glow effect smaller, it fills up too much area and ends up just looking like a shaky glow. I would say to also make it a brain or make a brain version of it, but then I'd basically be saying to copy him completely, and that's just dumb. jangorulz wrote: But i would make it rain lava. I digress to say that a storm of globs of raining lava from a nearby eruption would be incredibly awesome. It could even solidify and break down properly and separately at the same time if you used emitters in clever ways. And you'd probably be using them anyways, for smoke/fire.
