Re: SWAT suggestions
Eh yo, I downloaded the SWAT mod you released. I like it.
You know some special forces got those gun-powder powered piston type door busters? You can do one of those.
I suggest you pre-equipt your different actors with different weapons. Like a shotgun man with a shotgun, guy with the tactical shield and a pistol, door busting guy with door buster, etc. It makes the actors have some actual difference, and instead of simply having different masks and suits(in most mods, it's like that). Well, of course, you can leave one or few 'regular' guys with no pre-equipment.
Looking forward to your mod!
EDIT: How do the smoke bomb and the flash bang work exactly? Do they really blind enemies?

Re: SWAT suggestions
there are a variety of ways to do them. one that actually works against the AI is to use actors here and there in the effects, rather than MOSR or AEmitter particles. actors with emitters are even better. darlos has a grenade in his pack that does good work of this, though i find the visual effect behind his chaff grenade lacking. any fast moving or exploding particles work well too, and a combination does what a grenade of this sort should - freaks out the AI. for a flashbang, take out the smoke, add a high priority long explosion-humm sound and add glows.

Re: SWAT suggestions
Perhaps you could widen the special forces bracket to include other nations, like Greece, or Turkey ( Combat crossbows *drools*) or just throw in combat crossbows anyway...

Re: SWAT suggestions
Make as much as you can up until the point where there are two weapons with no observable difference in function.
Then stop. Biggest mistake modders make.
Also for the love of god don't confuse clips and magazines. Better yet, don't even bring up anything about firearms whatsoever and just make your weapons.
