Re: Se7en's Random Mods
Oh wow, I'm smart. Ultric messed up there. Anyways, in that case, this mod is nothing but pure gold. Now, less talk. I have to go incinerate some dummies. *Runs off to CC*

Re: Se7en's Random Mods
The explosive guns are generic, but the energy guns makes beautiful effects. It was fun t owatch enemies die in fireworks Very nice effects there. Though the actor looks odd with the three fins on his head. They do add style but they're not exactly cool.

Re: Se7en's Random Mods
This was quite fun to play with, the weapons have a fresh feel to them and the actor looks really cool. I had to take out the coalition sniper rifle thing because there were some strange dependencies issues between the PC and Mac versions. Overall i really really enjoyed it, i hope it is expanded.

Re: Se7en's Random Mods
You might want to put this on the ModDB. Should make some things easier.

Re: Se7en's Random Mods
Well, the mega lasers are mega, the rape cannon is rapetastic and dual wielding mega 'splosion shotguns is far more enjoyable then it should be... Curse you Se7en, I'll never get anything done now! Solid mod, could use some more pics - also, the test jetpack looks pretty good: elaborate more on this.

Re: Se7en's Random Mods
I think the actors need some kind of armor. I tested it with the vanilla actors killing the actors like it was nothing.
Also, just wondering, why do the rifles and such have low ammo capacity? The slowness of the rounds is a little annoying because they are a bit inaccurate and fires semi-auto round which allows the vanilla actors to chew them up.

Re: Se7en's Random Mods
i believe amping up the damage was a good idea though, the AK is still present and exactly the same, but there are actually some first-party killer weapons now. the flak cannon was the only one in all the other versions, now we have the uber-cannon, a rapist of bitchin' proportions. too many bomblets in it though, imho.
anyway, maybe tune down the damage from wounds and up the gib impulse and wound limits (mostly the latter)?

Re: Se7en's Random Mods
Really awesome stuff, I've been playing with these for a nice while and I'm enjoying it totally.
The effects on the energy guns were so awesome that I was inspired to copy your style in parts. The wide laser gun was my favorite out of all the stuff.
The loop cannon made me laugh as I used it on zombie cave without knowing what it really was at first. The shot first killed my brain and my other 2 troops, then it went inside the cave and killed every zombie and blew up both bomb makers and the generators that were there, including the control chip container.

Re: Se7en's Random Mods
I dont know, it still seems a little too weak to me...
The gun and actors don't chew up the terrain, which is good, but maybe if the guns were a little more accurate?
