Re: Clone Army V-0.4 -Clone Industries
He may be afraid to use colors because he isn't good at it, or maybe it's just his army's style. But anyway, more colors in the details would be good.
Anyhow, looking forward to your improvements.
P.S.I thought this topic would get severe flaming but I was wrong.

P.S.I thought this topic would get severe flaming but I was wrong. Edit: I just updated the file with sprites that I think are a much better improvement. I'm going to shop real quick and when I get back I will go back to work to make them even better one one of my friends who is good at making sprites is going to help me. And yea I thought the flaiming would be alot worse then this.

i also thought this would be locked ASAP because of the flaming but no. im suprised. its about 100% (i may be off by a couple % or something) constructive criticism. the sprites were pretty bad at the beginning but your using peoples suggestions and constructive criticism which is great. you are improving well. keep up the good work of improving your self.

Re: Clone Army V-0.4 -Clone Industries
Ok, nice improvement on the actor. But the helmet, you don't shade it with only one darker color. You should shade it with a graduation darkening of colors. (This also applies to any other object, as long as there's enough pixel space for you to do that)
Weapons still don't look good. Assault rifle has the greatest improvement, but it doesn't mean you don't need to shade (or add lighting to) parts that are black.
The laser guided RPG's laser beam looks awkward since it is too solid. I think you should do a fading at the end of the laser beam. All weapons are still heavily lack of lines and shading, sniper and pistol needs more details too. You should try to learn from the base weapons, those are really good examples.

I shall not download until you fix the pictures. I noticed that you attempted a fix by making your already jpged files into pngs. You, sir, are doing it wrong. Take new screenshots and make those into pngs. Once you've jpged it, you've killed it. Step away from the carcass and find an alive one.
