Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the Coalition heavy sniper shoot a low-speed round that then emits the high-speed shot? It has a FireVelocity of 1, but then the round throws a 30 kg AEmitter at 190 velocity. You could probably control the recoil of your cannon this way.

It has something to do with the Mac version, seeing as how theirs is more up to date than the PC version.

The porter of the mac code has been working on it for weeks. It's actually probably an OLDER version of the game engine, if it's different in any way. Which would be quite silly.

My god people! I too have a mac and fixing this problem is easy. Follow the file path and change all the " \ " into " / ". it really isn't hard. When I'm through correcting maybe I'll post the corrected version? Anyways, I just need to know what .ini file is asking for the effect in this error

Failed to load datafile object with following path and name:

Base.rte\Effects\Glows\YellowTiny

I just don't have the time to go searching through all of the .ini files

*edit*
just to help some more you will find the error in line 775 of the wounds.ini in the wounds file. You can select the line by pressing apple+L then type in "775"

thanks i will try that and as for why this is caused I don't know if the error has been there all along or something about extracting it n a mac makes things go all bad (horrible way to describe it). Any other ideas?

*edit*

not in pyro.ini I'm positive its a .ini file in this mod so what ever .ini is asking for that file in the mod please let me know which one it is

Hey DSMK2 This is important so read it

I fixed every single .rte abortion and every \ that was supposed to be / now but It has the same problem as Pelain Army. It hangs on a black screen whenever I try to start it up. The Mac Build hates this one too.

Sorry Folks. I was looking forward to using this as well ;_;
