Re: Se7en's Random Mods
Has references to BounceTech.rte, fix that. Disapointed, the screens look interesting.

Re: Se7en's Random Mods
Hey Se7en, try running your mod with other mods either removed from the Cortex Command folder or without the ".rte" parts in their folder names.
Also, if you've had CC for a long time through several builds, your Base.rte is actually going to have some stuff in it that shouldn't be there anymore, since installing a new version doesn't really delete the old stuff. You might want to delete your Base.rte and re-install it so you know exactly what you have to work with.

Re: Se7en's Random Mods
This mod is just awesome. I was playing with it for about an hour. The AK-47 and Shotgun edits were awesome. I have to say, my personal favorite was the wide laser. By the way, you might want to credit the guy from Minor Mod Compendium whose sprites you used as a base. Basically, this mod is pure win, delivered to your doorstep by stork.

Re: Se7en's Random Mods
Hope I can get a working version, a lot of that stuff looks like things I'm planning to do, hope mine are still different enough to count as origional.

Re: Se7en's Random Mods
ATTN: NEEDS ORIGINAL CLONES UNCOMMENTED Fun stuff in here, reminds me of finndude's weapon pack. Really nice use of glows and 0 mass particles. Loop Cannon blew my mind. Rape Cannon is neat. Energy weapons are preeeeettty *drool* Fun stuff, worth a DL

Re: Se7en's Random Mods
wait, you can make MOPixels explode? The things I can do with that are simply astronomical, DLing just to see that demo, and because the top gun in the screenie is pretty. Edit: wow, this stuff is good. Nice mod. and no problems for me, worked fine.

Re: Se7en's Random Mods
It's an mopixel with an mosrotating/tdexplosive underneath it.

Re: Se7en's Random Mods
yeah, I looked at the code and I don't get it.
What do you mean by under?
and the only problem with this method is that it makes the particle have a silly name on it's head, but it works around the whole problem of MOSRotatings looking awful if fired at speeds more than about 20 something.

Re: Se7en's Random Mods
If I remember correctly, something gibs both an MOPixel and a TDExplosive simultaneously. Then they proceed along the same line.

Re: Se7en's Random Mods
Thanks for the positive feedback and on the exploding MOPixels the method used in the exploding bullets guns isn't all that well made, the AT Snipers use a better version of the method but with emitters instead of explosives Ultric wrote: you might want to credit the guy from Minor Mod Compendium whose sprites you used as a base. might that of been my lazer guns from the MMC? I dont see anything else I could have got from there

Re: Se7en's Random Mods
I like this, pretty effects and fun weapons. The resprites don't bother me as much as sprites looking just like each other. Try to give each weapon at least some distinguishing feature. Also, your loop cannon has a sick sense of humor. You sure you didn't put any homing device on the shots? Maybe it's just CC bad luck.
