Post Extreme Lag...
Ok, here's the problem.

I get pretty bad lag at points where there are large particle effects or too many of them.

It can also becomes a slow motion action movie when there are too many actors on the map voices and grunts are also slowed.

The weird thing is my computer is very quite decent, here are my specs. :-(

CPU: Intel Core 2 Q6600 Quad Core.

GPU: ATI Radeon HD 4850 by Visiontek.

Motherboard: ASUS P5Q-E

PSU: Vigor Power supply v450

RAM: 4GB of Corsair DDR2 RAM

Probably the CPU can't handle everything at full speed, and the GPU has nothing to do with CC.

The sound engine is coded to match the graphical speed, I think you might be able to disable that, though.

It works perfectly fine when there are not too many moving particles on the map.

But the CPU is a Quad core why would it not be able to handle CC.

Because CC is INTENSE.

I know that buddy. :P

But is there anyway to possibly make CC run any better?

Yup. Buy the most expensive computer available today.

Otherwise, no. Perhaps future builds will run faster. Perhaps not. Time will tell.

Well I was just playing a pretty lag free game... :-o

But I still get unusual lag...

I guess we just have to wait. :???:

go to base.rte
open settings.ini
edit the line that says "deltatime" and raise the number, but above .035 starts to get really choppy.
i suggest raising it by .005 intervals and testing on each level. once its playable, stop raising the variable.

... That's a nice number ya' got there. Try rounding it up and do what Geti says.

As common sense would dictate.

.0167778 is the default deltatime. oh, and when rounding up delta it might pay to change the realtosimcap with the 1 and 2 keys in-game to get a suitable speed.
