Uh. Hi!

These are the first mods i have ever made. And i will get better or else

First up: Lump Of Gold!
A little lump of gold that gives you free money (Why?) that you can throw at people. Whats better?
Secondly: GC-Grenade-1
A simple boomb with a simple blast. Very weak but is useful to distract enemies or to damage groups of enemies.
Thirdly..... Er.... There is no third yet atually but i will post all my mods here

If I throw the lump of gold, and it turns into terrain, can I then mine it to get more gold?

It atually gives you free money as you buy it. Im not too decent with scripting.

Uhh, these are pretty bog-standard to be honest... Here's some constructive advice for you to follow- I'd advise you to spend a little more time on the forums, and observe how some of the older modders get their work done so you can learn some tricks and shortcuts that will hopefully aid you when you make your next mod. The Gold Grenade has been made many times before in many variants, and the other mod is just a rather below-averagely down bomb.

Still, you're getting somewhere. Keep working on them though.

Nothing groundbreaking, neither new, BUT a start at least.
Spend time on your mods and you will see a much better attitude towards you.

(Oh and don't sound doubtful)

I am learning and these are my first EVER mods so.

Don't use that as an excuse.

Handy rule of thumb- never release the first 10 or so mods you make.
I'm still at two.

It will help by publishing the first to get help with the newer ones.

Posting your first mods (unless they are really good) normally doesn't help because people will just insult you and make you feel bad and then you give up.
It is best to wait till you have something worth posting before... posting.

Gee, we sure do need some kind of thread, a place for modders to post their first edits for commentary and help... some kind of repository of small changes...
Naaah.

It might be bad but the community could be a bit kinder.

What the hell do you expect? "Don't release your first mod or people will laugh and point" is a cardinal rule that everyone figures out after a week or two here.
