supreme commander by concept, but it isnt that fun unless you have a lot of time to put aside.
i love C&C (especially the new ones, for sexy graphics and uber micro) and AOE.
if anyone has played dark reign, thats cool too. i suppose it depends on which genre of rts you wish to play really.

Starcraft and Warcraft III are awesome.

The first rise of nations, the British are the best. The japanese are second in my opinion.

i use russians in Rise of Nations(attrition ftw) and all you should try rise of legends not the best but its up their.

the best overall hmmm... starcraft(good gameplay, balancing, story and its a classic)

I moved recently and im having trouble finding the *rest* of my RTS games...

Fudge, i heard alot of bad stuff about Maelstrom but i didnt thought it was this bad, bought it (10 euros is very cheap, most games are 40-60 so..), played it, unninstalled it, going to trade...
its broken, crappy camera, deficient controls, and im not going to say anything else.. alot more time in development would do it alot better, the only thing i like is its water systen, when the map starts to flood and you need to terraform either huge walls to keep the water out your base or ditches..

Anything from Relic games (Huge fan of Homeworld, Company of Heroes, and Dawn of War). Also Command and Conquer Red Alert 2.

But if I had to choose one... I'd say Company of Heroes.

My absolute favourite would be Dawn of War, i just damn love that game too much, and cant wait for thhe 2 to come out :E

but you cant beat warcraft.

I haven't liked an RTS since Age of Kings, which I mostly played by getting the car-cheat-thing and running over my enemies cities.
I think I was 6 or 7. ♥♥♥♥ was cash.

Starcraft. Best Real Time Strategy game ever. I pretty much only play online Use Maps Settings maps, but melees aren't bad. Warcraft 3 is also excellent for its stronger map editor, but it's filled with lame Defense of the Ancients. Company of Heroes is alright, stuff blows up/gets smashed a lot. Not too good at it though It generally ends up stalemating for a while then the computer just steamrolls me with tanks and vehicles.
