i like the esc key action. maybe make another return to game/return to menu key.
that way everyone is happy.

So yeah, the ESC thing. It is true that most games have the ESC key send you back into the game when you're at the menu. Also, regardless of whether or not that is changed, there needs to be a "are you sure you want to quit" question, or something. I was playing a game of Body Ladder, and went to the menu for some reason. I went to hit the Resume button, and accidentally hit the Quit button. Game shut down and I lost my game, no questions asked. That sucked. And if you've played Body Ladder, you know how much that can hurt.
