Krumb's art is still pretty good, though.

I would seriously like to know whether he used Photoshop or another similar program or drew and scanned it.
And whether he used a mouse or stylus thing. :???:

I use a program called TVPaint, although you can get the same effect in Photoshop or Paint Tool SAI.

I draw and paint using only hard circle brushes of varying sizes and I use a Wacom Cintiq 12WX, as well as a Roland EV-5 Expression Pedal to control brush thickness, a cheap footswitch to toggle erasing mode, GlovePIE and PPJoy to convert the MIDI signals into joystick input, and a stubbed Wacom_Tablet.dll to tie the joystick input into things like Tablet Pressure, Tilt and Fingerwheel data.

Sounds like an expensive set up.

not that expensive, ~1-2.5k (correct me if the program is ludicrously expensive) which isnt that much for an artist's setup. mine, consisting of PS6 (back when it was worth money), a camera, apophysis, and a wacom bamboo fun (in black/graphite, never liked the white). was only about 800 tops, plus computer (which is a shitbox now anyway). [/ramble]
i love your style, its like prom crossed with more sex. im liking your strokes, and your crabs, and your humour. this is fantastic work. <3 the grenade one, though mr brain may catch a bit of shrapnel, the digger looks kickass.

Lol, my 'artist's set up' is a pen or pencil, any paper I can get my hands on and occasionally a scanner and photoshop 7.

not to mention paint for CC!

these drawings are great, they fit the mood of the game flawlessly, making it all happy and silly where it would otherwise appear fairly grim. I mean, it takes a certain type of humour to have someone falling off a building, exploding into mushy bits, and then being crushed by a rocket become not just funny, but not black-funny.

Top work. also, your female-cat-dummy has one MASSIVE arse.
