   |   Re: Fallout 3I got Fisto! and Lincoln's Repeater. Also, Rock-It Launcher is not as epic as it seems.
Shishkebab is... alright. I prefer my Combat Shotgun, which I keep for close encounters.

   |   Re: Fallout 3Well... I beat it. As an evil ♥♥♥hole.
 SPOILERS AHEAD:
 My reaction to the ending:
I'm still confused on how some ordinary Colonel was able to survive the rads that killed dad WHEN ENCLAVE TROOPS WEARING SEALED POWER ARMOR DIED THERE TOO.

Also I made Lyons activate Purity, and yet the game still acted as if I had died... don't understand how that worked out, but alright.

Also, I had Dogmeat with me when the Enclave took the GECK, and I couldn't find him afterward. I didn't get a "Dogmeat has Died" message or anything, either. Any ideas?

 I've killed 3 of the 5 Behemoths:
 GNR, Evergreen Mills, Capitol building.

I took Contract Killer perk, and in case you didn't know, the guy is in the Scrapyard, south of Minefield. Just look in the large shack. Dogmeat is there too.

   |   Re: Fallout 3I was halfway to the front door when I heard a faint *Bamf!*. For some reason this jogged my memory to talk to Sydney to start that quest to get her gun.
I spent the next 45 minutes searching the Archives for her, killing most of the things that I met along the way.

Had just about given up looking for her when, as I was making for the door, I set off one of the few mines that I hadn't disarmed & stolen. I jumped clear of the blast, and something rectangular with two long strips flailing off the sides flies across the room and hits the tiles with a wet and heavy thud. I run over to it and oh look! A dead, legless archaeologist? Why, just the thing I was looking for!

 10 Take gun
 20 Exit building
 30 Kill dudes
 40 Goto 30

   |   Re: Fallout 3I love the possibilities of the engine. So far I've encountered two awesome random non scripted things - the enclave loving guy from megaton falling off of the roof of his house (what?) and being found dead beside the bomb when I came back. Randomly exploring near a bombed out church when out of no were a wastlander comes running from behind the church completely on fire followed buy a raider with a lead pipe.

Also I still need to see the behemoth that chases you after you steal his teddy bear

   |   Re: Fallout 3I still haven't heard of bugfixes, so I'm still acting like you are all playing a beta of a game that hasn't been released yet. This makes me feel like I didn't waste my money. In other news, does anyone sell rounds in DC? I don't want to be in the situation I was in when I stopped playing after the 18th crash in a row, stuck in a mutant-rich zone with nothing but a baseball bat and skills tailored to using firearms.

   |   Re: Fallout 3I agree about the bugfixes so I stopped exploring the vaults and awesome places so I can do them without having to worry about having to save every three seconds. Also: I'm wondering which theme I should get for my Megaton house - here's some screens but I think it'll either be Love-Machine (I'm a little worried about one of my parents walking by and seeing the over-hanging "couple" lamp up top) or vault. Mild NSFW warning on the last picture. Wasteland Explorer - looks like boring and camping Raider - awesome and includes a lot of weapons, but guts aren't really what I want to come home seeing. Vault - looks clean and nice also includes many of the basics (food, clothes) also has a big vault-tec banner Science - looks clunky and annoying to walk around, it has some chemicals and stimpacks, nothing special Pre-War - really cosy and nice, also includes awesome intact gnome but not enough items to actually help Love Machine - Hilarious and warm. Includes atmosphere and plenty of speech impacting clothing and a heart shaped bed.
