Edit: Would it make any sense for the DarkStorm to be using the flux as a power source for their suits? What flux? What the HELL is a flux? Because, I'm pretty sure the word flux means fluctuation, as in change. So they've got a device on their suit that derives power from an unstable state of matter? Like, right near their ass, where the safety precautions could be shot and have it explode? I'm not flaming, it just annoys me when people don't know what they're talking about. Flux is the energy based beings that Darlos is possibly working on.

Re: DarkStorm Military Technologies - Updated 11/20/08
The Flux is a "race" of trans-dimensional beings flooding into our dimension by way of a tear in space-time. They consist almost entirely of floating orbs of energy, usually of a particular type. I worked briefly on one of the units, a floating fireball.
Now that we've got things like AirResistance and GlobalAccScalar, I might return to them in order to figure out a more proper method of movement for them. It would make sense that they not exactly be bound by gravity.
They'd be sort of a "ZERG RUSH KEKEKE" race.

Make the flux gib from your exo-suits... It could be like a malfunction, a creature derived from the chemical energy stored within the suit.

I thought using the flux as a power source would explain berserk clones(unless you've given up on that). I also thought if the flux could be related to the DarkStorm, that it might open up possibilities for crazy new units(like some sort of clone with its heart replaced with a flux) and weapons.

I'm all for replacing organs with inter dimensional instabilities

I guess I got the idea from Zanshin(the last boss from throne of darkness) who replaced his heart with an orb of magma, which looks surprisingly like one of the flux.

I am having an issue with this mod... It won't work. It doesn't crash the game. It simply doesn't show up. Please help me with this problem.

Make sure the folder ends with .rte and there isn't a folder of the same name inside the folder.

I like the new cryo gun, but the flamer was more functional flamer-wise before, me thinks. The chaff grenade has also gotten better, except for the fact that it lags a bit. Maybe halve the number of emissions or something?
