Re: Icelands - Patch #2 & *New Image*
I had an idea what if you converted this to a lunar map.
AND MADE THE SNOW BE ASTEROIDS?
I would imagine if you couldn't just make them mosrotatings you could use addattachable to attach a mosrotating to the pixel.
Voila, instant epic lunar scene, maybe even make the pixel gib into an explosion and have the jointstrength of the attachable meteor be low so when the meteor hits the ground the pixel detachs and explodes, making it look awesome?
EDIT: I'm gonna go try to do it myself.

That's actually not a bad idea. The particlesperminute would have to be like 5 or less, just so you could order ships at a respectable success rate.

But the color of the snow textures are a bit too white for the BG. And the snow emitted is too white.

Well, to each their own. I like the background, and I think Thanatos did a great job on revamping the snow. The snow's color mainly comes from its glow (plus, it just wouldn't look good with gray snow).

It's actually a good thing. Gives the game it's own unique look and style. And I would imagine it'd be a lot faster only having to render in 256 colors.

there are actually a wide variety of very light blues and light greys available for use. but still, white is fine. makes the blood look vicious.

Please make the background images larger: it doesn't support larger resolutions.
