Trouble uploading.
I'm trying to upload a measly 12 MB file as an attachment, and Firefox uses up all my RAM(2GB), and eventually freezes. I ended all unnecessary exes (like explorer.exe) and closed everything and tried again. the uploading window appeared, so I went to read for an hour, and when I got back, it was still uploading. I messed with firefox, and it just crashed. I eventually tried it with internet explorer, and failed again.
also, no, uploading it onto a file hosting website is not an option for a few weeks.
maybe I should have searched more but I didn't see anything talking about this problem.
help? try google chrome? heh.

Re: Trouble uploading.
Forum upload limit is 5mb.
If the problem is you're running out of RAM, there's a problem between the forum and your attachment, not your browser.
Try an external hosting service, as Geti suggested.

10mb's for posting and 5 mb for private messages. 7z, ace, gtar, gz, rar, tar, zip + a few others.

Enh. Okay.
But it shouldn't make Firefox drink RAM and crash.

Re: Trouble uploading.
Chrome does Javascript better than other browsers, and has the whole separate processes for different tabs thing that stop your whole browser from crashing if one of your tabs dies.
