i have this problem too, it occurs even when i use the defult pallet

could it be because of the bit depth?

arnt the CC maps in 8bit, you should make sure your exporting in 8bit colour

Ok, I uploaded a .zip file. Both are updated to have pink sky, and with no discolored pixels (I hope).

I fixed your references to Base.rte, and I went and re-indexed the bmp in my special "CC Scenes" palette in GIMP. I think I'm going to create a tutorial just because the whole 'paste into palette' method is a little ... greasemonkey. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

You should fix the point where the map wraps; it's off a little.
