   |   Re: Left 4 DeadI'm saying given a few months we could well see some new guns along with more campaigns.
What's so bad about the current weapon line-up?

I can't think of anything you could add that doesn't have a very similar counterpart already.

I mean, you've got the bullet sprayers, the shotguns, and the sniper.

Short of lasers and missile launchers I don't think there's a whole lot to be added.

   |   Re: Left 4 DeadI hope this game is well supported in terms of modding SDKs, because if so we will finally have a robust platform for building coop shooter mods of any type.
I know I'll be trying my hand at building a new campaign for it.

Using the amazing zombie AI I can see a huge potential for the modding community. Imagine an Aliens style mod with the director picking the perfect time for a swarm of aliens to burst out of the walls. No more enemies getting caught behind obstacles either.

They already said it's going to be easily moddable, just like everything else on the Source engine. It's a shame the Source engine is now outdated and looks like ♥♥♥♥ compared to everything else.

   |   Re: Left 4 DeadIt's also a shame that you can run the Source Engine on damn near any platform ever.
Rather than a top of the line system less than a week old.

LaterI got an idea to please people like you, how about we have a transsexual character, a guy in a wheelchair, a highly functioning autistic man, and a zoophiliac afraid of small spaces. That would be fun.

   |   Re: Left 4 DeadIgnoring venn's failtroll spree, I have this preordered for both PC and 360 (because no matter what anybody says there's just something about playing games on consoles). There's no reason this game should be anything less than amazing.
Jack: That would be hilariously entertaining, I call wheelchair guy.

 That would be fun.
Also they are all different personalities of the same person, a serial killer with split personalities who sees his victims as "zombies." Left4dead is really just a magical journey into the human mind.
