Goon City Don't think this has been posted yet but:
Goon City is the new giant Something Awful project similar to Goon Tower. It's an entire city filled by the users with references to video games and popular culture. You may find some snazzy stuff in there. The Orange Box references abound and there is some Watchmen thrown in there. Goon City - A collaborative pixel art project Somehow I came across this while doing my usual surfing. Goon City is a cityscape done completely by donations of other people's pixel art, they get a city block to draw up something and it gets added. This thing is updated regularly, expanding constantly, getting huge, and only takes a second to load.
A lot of you are pixel artists, so maybe a few of you would like to add something, maybe even something from Cortex Command. Nobody's making money from it and there's no signatures required, so I'm sure it'd be fine. Seriously, check this thing out. http://www.gooncity.com/city.htm   |
