This is why Data doesn't update every second on what he's working on. He'd lose all his customers. :<

Post Re: ATTN:
Grenade that doesn't make any sense

2D !< 3D

...

THAT MEANS THAT 3D IS NOT BETTER THAN 2D

The amount of dimensions should not (and doesn't) affect cost.
You are, in fact, getting a discount.
All new 2D games are in the realm of forty pounds (no idea how much that is in dollars), much less than what you payed.

Post Re: ATTN:
This is all in response to Grenade. I haven't quoted his post here to avoid a (bigger) wall of text.
First- 'this is kind of "mini" games?'
---No. A tetris clone is a minigame. You have no idea what a minigame is, so I'm going to move on to the
Second point- 'it havent anu fudge graphics.'
---Do you have any concept of all of the spriting, and drawing, and concept work that Prom does? Jesus Christ. If anything, it'd be easier to slap together some shitty 3d models, but then
Point three- 'But cortex good in realistics like kind of 2D phiysics.'
---It isn't that easy to code a physics engine like that; it takes time. You might say 'but code is free!' but food and housing are not, nor are other expenses Data incurs while he could be off working what could be considered a real job.
Point four- '2d licensed games cost 10 dollars at max.
---no they don't. You're just plain WRONG. Ever bought a DS or GBA game? Yyyyeah. And if CC is finished, the final product will be quite a bit more comprehensive than Super Mario World Land Place 54 ++ Star Edition 3. And if you mean independent games, then there's World of Goo, which is $20. Around the same price as the current CC minus the near-infinite expandability.
Point 5- 'i mean Ukraine licensed. I dont mean american internet shoping, i mean reall cd/dvd buying.'
---First off, is American internet purchasing not good enough for you? You say it like the French would. And to be perfectly honest, a lot of those games are probably either A: pirated or B: old. Yes, you can pick up Worms: Armageddon, which is easily one of the finest 2d games ever, for $5, but it came out in what, 2000? And also, if your point there is you want a solid disk for your money- disks break, or can get lost. License keys can't. They cost money to make, and to ship. License keys To finish things off- Data isn't taking your money. You gave it up in exchange for a product that may or may not be finished, with no development schedule. By buying the game, you agreed to that. and if your point is "I payed for an unfinished product," look at all of the huge game companies that released half-finished games that need patches just to work. At least this has it in plain text- may or may not be finished, ever.

Post Re: ATTN:
The fact is that some people dont think the game is worth 38 dollars. I barely think its worth 18.

Dont waste time trying to change his mind, you just look like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Also, TSFR, you're an idiot if you think 3D modeling is inherently easy because its 3D.

My response to this thread:

"Ooh, more content! About time too!"
"Ooh, Ant Attack by Data, looks good!"

and then
"Wow, grenade's english is so bad it's scary... and he's an idiot."
followed by
"Odin has a point: 3D modelling is much harder than 2D art. And this game is only just worth 18."

Because, you know, it's all about the graphics.

Idiot. If you think the prices are too outrageous, then don't buy it.

For all you know, he hasn't bought it. I'm making a point of trying to convince everyone here not to buy this game.
