Hmm, someone FINALLY converted them, After like 3 years of people going: "Hey, does anyone remember Piezo's bolters? They were awesome, someone should convert them!"
Jesus christ, they can't be THAT good! (I reserve the right to be wrong about that)

Tried it out, they look magnificent.

The normal bolter is a bit too big (normal clones can't hold them with both hands too big), and fires too slowly.
Storm bolter fires a bit too slowly.
Bolt pistol is fine.
None of them are powerful enough, they don't do enough damage on a direct hit (ie: almost none).

^What he said, and the offsets are kind of wonky, as the bolters tend to explode within the weapon.

Don't use the storm bolter if you like your arms, and don't use the normal one if you want to hit anything. Next time try testing it before release :sad:

I tested it and my bolters worked perfectly fine in the sense that i could hit things without sharpaim and still have my arms. The original bolters were also a tad inaccurate so don't hate on them for that as they are merely an update from the old version to work in this build.

Yeah I just played with the old one's in build 14 and they are SOOO much better. They can actually HIT.

A few of the variables have changed in value in recent builds, I've noticed that sharpness has become higher, to do the same thing.

I converted them without changing any values, not knowing how the original guns worked, so the best thing now is that someone else should restore them to their original selves. I am not surprised that they are a little wonky, being made so many builds back. :)

Bolters according to space marine lore, fire very large .50 cal (im not sure if it right, but there big bullets) bullets. not explosives, the armory also includes a lascannon, rocket launcher, flamer (uses promethium), and serveral variants of bolters (boltpistol, hurricane or storm bolter, and the standard bolter). im sure the whole explosives thing that the mod uses is to give the impression that it fires big bullets, and peizo probably wanted the bullets to look like real bullets and not pixels.

Well actually, all standard Bolter ammunition has an explosive core.
Not very big, but enough to do serious damage.
