Re: Silly Explosive Weapons.
Projectiles that drop smaller projectiles downward are nice for that "curtain" effect. I always liked the idea, which is why I made my shock mortar.

Re: Silly Explosive Weapons.
Woo, positive response! I'm going to make a few more, a firework gun, which fires rockets that fly straight up and then rain shrapnel down. And an RPG that works by shooting a TDExplosive with a bullet (very fast firing) which makes a would which is a propulsion thing. (I know that's been done, but it's just such a cool idea!)
I think it'd be cool to make a mortar that fires low velocity, but the projectile has an emitter that goes straight down and only bursts one high mass particle, so you can shoot up while aiming forward.
I might get one done tonight, but if I don't I'm going away until sunday, so I won't for a while.

Re: Silly Explosive Weapons.
Sounds promising. Can't check it now, but if it's something like the 'Drunk Missile launcher' from Rise of the Triad it'd be bloody hilarious.

Pretty close, you'll love it!
Couldn't get it to work how I wanted though... Oh well, this is better.

Re: Silly Explosive Weapons.
The firework's nice, but perhaps there's a way to add more colours in the firework? And some of those smaller particles that drop down from the main explosion. And groundflowers, rockets and handheld sparkles. It's not the end of this year yet. There's time.

Re: Silly Explosive Weapons.
I remember making something like this a loooonnng time ago as a test. (B13 or 14) Then I changed the materials around and did some crazy stuff, and it ended up blanketing the ground with a thin layer of black material that where you stepped on it, created a hole the extended to the bottom of the map. Good times.
You did well on this. Personally, I like the firework gun better.

Re: Silly Explosive Weapons.
It just needs some pictures or a GIF. I don't know about you, but I personally love those random weapons that do random stuff, such as the old paint-gun from 06'. I'll be sure to install this once I buy Cortex Command, and delete my old (VERY FUDGING OLD) copy of Cortext Command.
