Crabs are the least mobile unit and this mod is about mobility. Also, why does the Electrolaser send units flying into space you shoot them in the head?

I wouldn't mind seeing the D143PML get updated.

A cyborg would be nice. (don't make until that shogun is done though or don't make it at all.)

Re: DarkStorm Military Technologies - Updated 7/11/08
Hey, a lot of comments and questions pertaining to my mod. Fun times. Shard wrote: Darlos do you plan on makeing some sort of dreadnaught?
If not, then oh well. No, not a four-legged thing with a gun exactly. The Shogun armor lacks any real jetpack, though. It just "jumps." Though otherwise its an AHuman. My turrets pretty much take up the role of dreadnoughts. CandleJack wrote: Crabs are the least mobile unit and this mod is about mobility. Also, why does the Electrolaser send units flying into space you shoot them in the head? Well, here's how it works: the "shot," when it strikes something, gibs into a few "bolts" that fly directly downwards, through actors, until they hit the ground. Then when they hit the ground, they explode. It's like a single discharge from the shock mortar, pretty much. This means that when you shoot an actor directly, then usually they end up with a powerful blast at their feet. Which is why you get guys that are de-legged and launched into the air a lot. The Cling Clang wrote: I wouldn't mind seeing the D143PML get updated. I WAS waiting for more Lua powers. But I'll consider it. Foa wrote: Shard wrote: A cyborg would be nice. Actually, they're clones infused with nanomachines. I'm not sure what you'd call that. They don't have anything mechanical actually grafted to their bodies. Anything they wear is fully removable. Though honestly, I always assumed that the jetpacks in CC are integrated into a clone's nervous system, because I'm not sure how else they'd control it. I suppose that makes them all cyborgs. Maybe later.

Ok, all the questions on the page have been answered so far.
But about the hand grenade, usually I don't throw the grenade, I put a ton or a few in a drop pod, drop ship, rocket and then either smash it into the ground and most of the bombs explode, or I scuttle the ship in mid air above whatever enemy is there.

Re: DarkStorm Military Technologies - Updated 7/11/08
I like throwing them when prone. You lye down next to a barricade, face the opposite direction, aim in the middle, and throw. It chucks it over the barricade in a sick looking way!
Although yes, grenades are currently too iffy to use, they don't go far enough and need moar powar!

It's the whole not-exploding-when-I-shoot-the-crap-out-of-them thing which annoys me. TDExplosive just don't explode easily enough.
