Notice how he said 'Heavy' a couple of times?
That's because this is all heavy stuff. The light stuff is still all WIP.

Kudos on having the discipline to finish a big project like this by the way.

This isnt finished, the first line in the OP clearly says "Heavy WIP". There are several reasons I did this update;
-So that people who are unable to type "AAL" in the search dont whine anymore.
-I missed playing my own mod, since I havent done so for long time.
-Its now much lighter in size and has all the other mods removed from it which leaves this one "faction only" stuff.

But yeah, giant kudos for zalo on the offsets for the strike raven, without his work, the MPAM would still be the only mech in this pack.

As for the "real" faction that I'm working that will have the standard trooper, novastar, campaign and all the cool stuff, is still under work and it wont be out until the a version of CC where I can do the stuff I want to do will be out.

Numgun, your work is outstanding.

It looks to me now like you're going to have a whole line of mechs... maybe you will be the first to create a Mechwarrior-style chicken mech? You seem like more of a humanoid-type 'mech fan, but I think it would be a grand accomplishment to behold.

I think something like the Owens(pictured) would be good, as it fills a role not currently covered by any AAL mechs, or even any role in CC in general, plus it just looks cool.

Remember, none of this is a request or anything at all, really, just throwing out ideas. I personally think chicken mechs are the most awesome sort of mechs.

I really enjoyed MechWarrior 3 on the PC (and I still have it) but I must say no. Humanoid mechs by japs as you stated are indeed my favorite and I see them much superior over the american counterparts. Much more mobile and powerful in general and advanced in design in many ways. The chicken walkers do have a style of their own and also are great, but I prefer the humanoid ones.

Also I dont see what "role to fill" there is. MPAM is a ground mech and the SR owns the air. Both are operable in space too and the acronym "MPAM" stands for Multi Purpose Armored Mecha. So yeah, it was designed to be able to operate for any operation.

I'm still redesigning the AAL and thinking of the best layout on the heavy weapons side aka mechs, vehicles and crafts. Its tough and there might be a chance that only the MPAM will be included + customization sets.

Numgun, do you have any plan to possibly do a super heavy mech sometime? Perhaps a 4 legged crab walker with thick armor and low mobility, and heavy weaponry.

Speaking of weaponry, the mechs seem to lack the big guns. Well, giant anti vehicle cannon aside, at least. A grenade launcher, rocket launcher, and some sort of artillery-type thing would make their arsenal truly godlike.

Oh, and just because I'm obsessed with big booms and complex weapons, here's an idea. A semi-sharp, heavy shot that can burrow a few feet into the ground, about half that into bunkers (not enough to break through the wall) and after an extended delay, explodes in a nice big boom. Would be awesome for setting up traps for oncoming soldiers if the timing is right.

The VHSC is technically artillery, not anti vehicle. Also, isn't an artillery cannon already anti-armor?
I think I might make myself a MOSRotating round for it sometime, that'd be fun.
I second the rocket launcher.
