I made this for fun.
heh.
Except the blue links it looks real.
And the fact that it's clearly not writen by data.
Ubiquity is a little mozilla program, it's quite neat.

Hah, nice. The comments don't sound very Data-ish so I'm not sure I'd believe it if it were published.

I'll have to check that program out. Looks neat.

Sorry but it would be funnier if it were a serious dev log post.

The part about there being 786 comments the day he posts a dev log is true.

Ok well this one is more realistic (I don't know what's out for build 22, I hope this)

Much more believable now. I'd hate it if Data went down this route.

Hah yeah it would.
But if it was realistic, Data would probably have written more points that could have been made into one point. For example
# Lua engine and console now integrated, and almost whole existing C++ engine exposed to it. The console can be accessed with the [~] key (left of your [1] key). Exhaustive documentation of the full Lua interface is coming soon!
# Lua scripting of entire Activity logic! This allows for any game rules we want to make the missions have, and any multiplayer style as well, like CTF or king of the hill, etc.

Could have been made into

# Lua engine! Console, activity logic, scenes, and areas! (Or something like this)

That update rocks even more.
Also I'm doing a prank on my sister, she sometimes uses this PC for facebook and hotmail.
Now when she'll log on facebook it'll say they're updating their database!
haha!

LOL OMG UR SO KEWL WARMAN!!1

Honestly, you suck. Please, take your fail elsewhere; also, l2greasemonkey.

Probably way better than Ubiquity.

OF COURSE, since FireFox is inferior to Opera ANYWAY....

A sardonic, flaming, trolling, "lern2", "fail", fanboy post. I really don't think three days vacation is fitting, but i'll do it anyway.

Leave the troll to rot. I prefer Opera myself, but Ubiquity is an awesome addition to Firefox. Good times.

Just btw, the console opening from "-" -key on keyboards with that key layout is not a bug. I read somewhere that console can also be opened from slash (/), and it just happens that in U.S. layout slash happens to be in the place of "-". I'm really glad Data made the position of the key matter instead of the actual character. Really helps prevent those problems like in Half-Life 2 where the console can only be opened if you press a single key, and the character lies behind shift in your layout. So then you have to go and bind your own key, or worse yet, can't bind one and have to change the code page.

And about the future builds, probably first comes at least the actors, ships and weapons and other stuff of 2 factions and the metagame before any real campaign missions. Because wouldn't it be hard to make missions if you don't know what the player will be fighting with, against who, and how? Even if you knew, you might still need the items to be available when making missions, and would need to test the missions.

Also i don't think he would hold back released builds from standard edition buyers. Instead of "punishing" standard buyers, he would probably give bonuses to support edition buyers. Hmm, then again, wouldn't that feel like "punishing" from the viewpoint of standard buyers? Well i'm sure he would figure it out so everyone would be happy no matter what :)
