Space Station campaign idea.
Okay, so as I saw the Space Station floating around in the Campaign seen, I thought it would be great for a campaign mission and I have a few things of what I think it should be like. When clicking on the Space Station to select it as a campaign mission, the station would stop moving. The map would be much taller then wide. There would be different levels that have different things on them. For instance, level 2 would be the Arsenal section, level 4 the Craft hanger, and level 5 with a Cloning Room. And there would be a BIG window-like thing in the back that shows the outside space. And on either side of the map, there would be doors that extend from the bottom of one level to the top of that level, for every individual level. They have lots of strength, but if broken produce lots of invisible particles outwards, to represent the pressure changing from breaking the wall of a station, and it would almost make the level un-inhabitable. Do you like my idea? By the way, the diagram is horrible because I didn't feel like making anything big...

No, that station is a universal, neutral, instant delivery station owned by a corporation.

I think that the only way it would work is if it was the last level. Its on the space station so no reinforcements. And all you do is have like 5 people and have to rush a enemy base and destroy the brain.

The station is indeed the place you Buy you units and equipment, and so wouldn't your opponents try to destroy your source of reinforcements? And so they attack it to try to destroy it, and you have to stop them. Otherwise the war is over, and they have won. You have no other source of travel, ammo, or soldiers besides the ones that are stationed across the planet. Get it now?

Yeah yeah, we've talked about this a lot.
I personally think you should play as the tradestar commander for a midas mission, and there's an extremely powerful force attacking the station. Although you also have some heavy power at your disposal, the culmination of all the factions' designs, instant orders, and unlimited funds. It would work well as a bonus mission, for fun, that you get by unlocking everything.

I don't understand why anyone would attack the station though... It is not just where the player gets shipments from, the computer does too. But nevertheless, azukki's idea sounds really fun.

For some reason this reminds me of The Mile High Club mission on Call Of Duty 4. I don't really know why But, I think it should be that the TradeStar get's invaded and taken over, and you must get it back and restore peace.

Tradestar Midas is assaulted by a large band of space pirates. The once opposing brains have banded together to counter the new threat. In your small flagship containing a finite amount of troops and weapons, you must both retake the Tradestar and a wage ship battle with the pirates. There are Midas employees and friendly troops onboard the station, and you can fight alongside them. You can retake specific parts of the station, such as the security systems, or maybe the anti-ship turrets. You win by destroying all pirate controlled ships and killing all enemies onboard the station.

Perhaps the tradestar gets a new leader/owner/manager or whatever, and he is corrupt, thus you have to attack the tradestar and kill the owner to regain neutral powahz and make the planet once again a safe place to have epic wars and kill people, without getting bombs in all your delieveries.
