Those Goliath ships keep ♥♥♥♥ me over, and whenever I kill a few weak ships, THE WHOLE DAMN ALIEN FLEET COMES AND RAPES ME. When you die, do you have to reload the game or start a new one? And when I bought a ship, what happened to the other one I had been using?

well, just stars as the VCL, then EVERYONE will attack you...
BUT when you get the wasp, you will be like a demigod. And when you finally earn enough to buy the goliath... you will be like a god. You will be able to raep eveeryone with just couple of shots.

Just load a game. be sure to make lots of saves on the planets.

Nothing, is just dissapeares.

HINT:now to easyly earn moneys. Fly to ANY solar system, land on ANY planet. Your shileds and energy will be recharged for free. Then even when a giant battlecruser jumps in, you have greater chance of surviving. Thats how i earned enugh money for the wasp, and the goliath.

I think it depends on the type of guy you kill or what their cargo is... I noticed i got different amounts of money per kill.

I've only killed a Locust in my time, it got me over 19,000 credits. I've also discovered a money exploit in the Ukiyo System.

When I was godmodding money counts varied wildly from ship type to ship type, and seemed to be set to randomize between certain values for different ship types.

Well duh, that's what the Vcl do. They are trying to take over the galaxy you know... Plus the Goliath is like the pride of the Vcl fleet. But I'm hoping to make one more Vcl capital ship, something GREATER than the Goliath... fluff wise, it'll be the ship type that crossed the great void between the Proycon galaxy and where ever the hell they came from. I.e., it will be massive, and you'll need 5-8 Prometheus's to take down.

Well, if you were smart enough to make some save games, you can load those. Just land on any planet and press the "Save" button.

When you buy a new ship, your old one technically doesn't disappear (technically, code-wise, it does.) but you trade it in for about half it's bought-value.

*Edit* For those who DON'T visit my forums; I'm currently reworking how guns are loaded and how they are stored on ships. Now each gun is in the cargo hold and once you look at you inventory, you'll see them there, with a status of "Equipped". Wares you buy are also in your cargo hold. You'll be able to check your cargo hold on planets and in space in your Player Info window.

Yeah, a capital ship for each faction would be kick ass. Plus I've been in some extreme battles involving a couple of Largens battling like seven Goliaths. My Halberd doesn't last.

There's a bug in the recent build in which you can't escape the zerg race starter galaxy. Not enough energy in the first ship.

Press F9 until some LC, IWA, or RF fleets jump in, kill stuff, get money, buy a better ship. Next build it'll be better.

Wow, the Largen is caught in there still? Man that ship is overpowered, then again when I made it I was just going for pure overkill. They where designed for my "Empire" faction as an assault cruiser, I tried making a properly scaled dreadnought but it didn't all fit on the screen...I guess I could scale the things back a bit...

Anyway, that new Vlc ship sounds scary, is there going to be any singular counter (maybe a ship constructed together by the 3 great human factions)? Or are we just stuck hoping that we have several capitals hanging around us when it warps in?
