Trickster Cauldron [EXTREMELY WIP - NEW TECH]
Okay, it's the middle of the night and I have to work tomorrow, but I wanted to get this out there for some comments. Pretty much, it's a beam (activate by pressing up, make it hold steady by selecting return from the pie menu) that returns things you throw into it for cash. So now any weapon you scavenge on the battlefield is a source of income for you. Test it out, but keep in mind I just started this thing and it lacks proper sprites and implementation. Problems include: - Gives you negative killcount. No idea how to fix this crap, may be an engine limitation. Ideas welcome. - May lag due to lots of glow, but pretty much only if your computer is bollocks. - You can hold the beam forever, which is both a little cheap and unnecessary. I have an idea in place for how to fix it, but that's for the next version. - It's ugly as sin. This is a separate topic from Security because ideally it will blossom into Trickster Mining, so hopefully that's alright with people. Any .GIFs I can get would be fantastic too. Thanks, guys.

Pretty badass, but like the gauntlet modules the offsets (and background) need some work. :/

Double Double, Toil and Trouble, Fire Burn and Cauldron Bubble.
That sums up my opinion.

This is really cool, I think the negative kills thing happens when you create a pinned actor/rocket/dropship off the screen (That's what happened with Darlos's rocket)

Yes I know the offsets are off I will headbutt all of you. Easiest thing ever to fix, but odds are I'll redraw the entire module anyhow, so I just wanted to show y'all this. I can have it fixed by tonight, in any case, so FINE. Has anyone got any ideas on how to fix the kill counter thing? I don't really care, but it makes it look unprofessional and it's kinda irritating. Any other comments?

When it's in Return, it should not burst, but do a continuous laser beam.
And keep the BG pattern that's above the Cauldron, is AWESOME!!!

Good idea, I'm glad people still pump out stuff like this. Also I think you can fix alot of stuff on it when the new build of cortex command is out

Djinn, you are just full of ideas. But yeah, it could do to be aligned with the other tiles. Like I was talking with you about your SK-PRR (Holy crap I just got that it's escaper) it should be about the same width or double that of a normal vertical wall, so that bunkers look a bit prettier. : D

I wish there was a way to watch a user and receive updates via e-mail whenever they start a topic in a certain forum. In short, this mod just made my day.
